Juliet entered her apartment feeling like she had been gone forever. It was good to be home, being surrounded by her personal things. Leaving her suitcase by the door she kicked off her flats and headed straight for the bedroom. Shrugging her jacket and scarf off she tossed them on the bed and walked into her bathroom, leaving the door ajar while she filled the tub with warm water. She was going to take a bath, soaking in the water till it got freezing cold. She needed it. Then she'd call Chloe and ask for a girl's night in because she needed her girl. She was confused about her feelings, but at the same time she wasn't. She knew why she was feeling the way she was feeling. She just didn't want to face it. She needed Chloe to tell her to face fucking reality.
While the tub was filling up Juliet stripped and slipped into her comfy robe, securing it tightly around her waist. She stopped in her tracks when she heard her phone ring. Cautiously entering her bedroom, acting like she was on a stealth mission, she approached her jacket and searched for her phone. Thinking it was probably Chloe and she was acting like a damn fool she answered it while heading back to the bathroom.

"Hey Chloe, I was going to call you later, we really need to talk-"

"It's me."

She stopped in her tracks, "Dustin?"

"Jules, it's good to hear your voice."

She frowned, noticing the change in his tone. Something was wrong.

"Are you okay?"

She walked up to the tub and turned the faucet off, slipping her fingers into the water to test the temperature. It was hot, but she wasn't about to slip in yet. Reaching for her bath salt she poured a generous amount in, patiently waiting for Dustin to speak up.

"I'm fine." Those were simple words yet it took him a while to answer her, "Just wanted to know if you made it home safely."

His tone still sounded off, but she knew he probably didn't want to talk about it.

"I made it home safely." She told him quietly, she stared at the water not wanting to end the call because she was worried, "Dustin, you can tell me anything. I won't get upset, just talk to me." She lowered her voice, "I'm worried."

"I'm-" She heard him inhale deeply, taking his time to answer her, "I'm okay, really." He was lying, they both knew it, "I'm glad you're home safe. I need to go, we'll talk soon."

"Dustin!"

"Goodnight Jules."

"Dustin no-"

She glanced at her phone, annoyed that he hung up on her. She could call him back, but she knew he wasn't going to answer. Something was wrong with him, but he wasn't talking to her. She could only assume that she was the problem. Not feeling okay with that phone call at all she left Adam a text. She knew Adam wanted to know if something was going on with Dustin. Last thing the band needed was another issue with Dustin. They just got out of their slump, working on being better.
Placing her phone on the sink she slipped out of her robe and got into the tub. Like she thought the water wasn't that hot anymore. It was perfect actually. Her intention was to have a long, relaxing bath, but she wasn't relaxed anymore. All she could think about was Dustin. She wished she never answered that call. Now her mind was filled with him.

"Jules?!"

"In the kitchen!" She called back, smiling as she heard Chloe's voice echoing through her apartment.

"You cooking?!" Chloe called back.

Glancing over her shoulder Juliet narrowed her eyes on Chloe who was grinning at her, "You enjoy being loud?"
