Juliet woke up feeling like she didn't rest at all, maybe that was even true considering her late night activities together with her boyfriend. Calling Zachary her boyfriend felt odd, it was something she needed to get used to. Rolling to her side she stared at the empty spot where Zachary was supposed to be. While her hand travelled over the cold sheets she noticed a piece of paper lying on the bedside table. Reaching for it she read his quick message.

I've some errands to run with Adam.
After, we're heading to the concert hall.
See you tonight

She should have known they weren't going to spend much time together since he was working. She was only staying for a week and maybe that was for the best. It scared her how intense things got between her and Zachary, fast. Some time away from him after this week was needed to clear her mind. Chloe was going to call her crazy, but unlike her friend she didn't want to fall in love quickly and start a family. She wanted to be certain the man she was going to marry was someone she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
Since Zachary wasn't around she'd have breakfast by herself at the restaurant downstairs and then get some work done.
Rolling out of bed she picked up the shirt he left on the floor, shrugged it on. She collected their clothing from the floor and tossed them on the unmade bed. A knock on the door halted her trip to the bathroom, making her spin around and head to the door.

"Morning to you too." Dustin grinned, "Looking rough Jules."

"Shut up." She told him quietly and left the door open knowing he wasn't going anywhere, "I was about to take a shower."

"I'll make it quick, the others are out doing their thing. Since no one else is around how about we have breakfast together?"

She turned to look at him again, "Sure."

She planned on having breakfast downstairs anyway so she didn't mind if Dustin joined her.

"See you in thirty minutes?"

"At the restaurant downstairs?"

"Yep."

She nodded, "Thirty minutes." She confirmed, "I really need to take a shower now."

He left her to it, so she quickly took a shower. Normally she'd put more effort into her look, but she wasn't feeling like it this morning. She felt sluggish and it felt like she really had to force herself to actually leave the room and meet Dustin downstairs. When she did meet him his look told her he understood her pain.

"Jesus, Zachary didn't hold back, did he?"

She reached for the menu, trying to hide her blush as she scanned through the choices she had for breakfast, "I'm not talking about it with you."

"We don't need to discuss, I can tell just by looking at you."

Her blush deepened, "Then be a gentleman and pretend you can't tell."

"I'm not a gentleman, Jules."

She looked up from her menu, finally meet his gaze, "No, you're definitely not." With a sigh she placed the menu down, "Things were intense, but I think between Zachary and me things are always intense."

He narrowed his eyes on her, "You don't look happy about that."

"It's not that he forced me or anything, I was very willing." She trailed her eyes away, hating that she was actually discussing this with Dustin, "It just scares me how fast things are going."

"Then tell him." Dustin told her without hesitation, not even needing a second to ponder about the things she said, "You two didn't talk to each other for weeks and then all of the sudden you're banging his brains out like there is no tomorrow. That's not for everyone."
