So, I decided that my wand core would be a rare one, but one from North America, considering you know, I live in North America. So, the core is that of a horned serpent, and if you don't know, I extract the core from the shavings of the horn of this serpent. So, I can't find much on this core type considering that in the world of JK Rowling it's only been used twice for two wands. But according to the Wikia page on Harry Potter, it hums when danger is near by and it is vulnerable to parseltongue. Which is what I believe I would have if the magical world of JKR was real.
