Okay, I know in the future, Imma be able to do what I need and have the materials, but gosh, I wish I had it now. I wanna make my costume, for Spider-Man, thing is, I lack the technique of making anything. Like, so, ugh. How do I explain? There's a few methods, I can buy a really nice replica from the internet with the chance of it being not as nice as in the pic and costing me money I don't have. OR I could wait till Halloween to buy a crappy knock-off one that'll rip within a week. OR I could buy the actual parts for it.

So far, I've gone with the third option, thing is, when I put together a costume, I add my own twists to it. I've got the shoes and the socks. The socks are red baseball socks, and the shoes aren't exactly from the film. His in the film are like a red dress shoe, squared red dress shoes. No, like if you think of the quality of marching band dinkles, and if you made the toes square, and then you take the laces out so it's a slip on and you make it red, but keep the soles black. You basically have his shoe, my shoes however are different.

They are running shoes, the sole is white, and it has this Spider-Man-esc design on it. So, I gotta paint the soles black.... but I don't have paint, just thick permanent marker. Also, I can't find any mens sweatpants that are a dark baby blue, or any blue, and thing is, they have to get tighter when around my calves and ankles so they can fit under my socks. BUT! There are none that I've found. And I've found a pair that are like a rich blue, but they're womens, and I already make mens clothing look feminine. Plus, I need my undershirt to match the sweatpants, so I gotta get those first before the shirt, but even the sweat pants are pricey. Not only that, I still need to make the mask with the goggles, and get his red sweater with the no sleeves and the weird pockets.

So, basically, I might be screwed for this costume, because of these problems. No money. Wearing womens clothing, which will fit on my skin because womens clothing is for whatever reason suppose to be sexy. And, I lack the ability to make anything good. Ugh, freakn costumes are hard man.

But, I will say thank you to phantasticwriting for making the stencil for my sweater, I really do appreciate that , it's one less thing I have to worry about. I've got August, September and the end of October to get this costume done. Wish me luck, and if you can help in anyway, I'd be very grateful.
