I have just as much authority as my co-drum major. So, screw you all who think otherwise. Sure she has a year on me, but what did she do her first year? Made copies and held Dr. Beat. Our band director didn't think too much of our junior drum majors, but I've turned this around. She asks for our opinions on things, she lets me take control of setting stuff in order. I'm changing this trend of Junior Drum Major not being as important as the Senior Drum Major. I'm just as important, I have just as much power. I am not just there to make copies and hold Dr. Beat. I am there to lead and correct the band. To teach. So, screw you. I am the Drum Major, I am one third of the authority(is you're not counting the paid help).
