Xenon

They say, that when a son first beats his old man in an arm-wrestle,

The son feels somewhat sad for his dad.

WHAT A JOKE.

"Ready?~" uncle held both of our hands. I looked at father intently and so did he.

I want to beat him.

"We're heading out." I'm not surprised at all. I heard him talking to my uncle on the phone earlier.

"Where are we going?" I tried to act innocent while putting a curious expression on.

"There will be a little party tonight since your cousin, Lina, got a job. We'll be going out in a bit so prepare yourself." He told me without avoiding our eye contact.

"So that means, uncle will be there." I answered.

"Yes, so don't make any mistakes." He muttered while giving me a warning.

"Yes, father."

"Xenon! How have you been!" Uncle greeted me in a happy tone. I plastered a smile as he hugged me.

"It's nice to see you again, uncle." I replied to him and sat on my chair. After hugging me as a greeting, he hugged my father next who seemed to be disgusted. It's his own brother for God's sake.

"Congratulations on your job, noona." I told Lina who was my cousin. She just smiled as a reply and gave me a high five.

"Heard your sales from the third quarter jumped up to 12%? What an incredible older brother you are!" My father exclaimed while plastering those happy expressions on his face. They were already drinking when he spoked.

Uncle laughed at his statement and just patted his shoulders.

"Come on!~ Enough with those business talk, Xav! Hey Lina, give your father a refill!" Uncle happily told Lina who was busy eating.

"Yeeeees~" Lina replied with a slight sound of boredom.

"How about you, Lina? It's nice to hear you got accepted by a big company! You've been always a smart kid. Congrats on your job, Lina!" My father happily greeted Lina and Lina seemed to be flustered with my father's flowery words.

"Thanks, uncle." she answered with nervousness.

"Unlike this kid, Xenon. He never had a studying bone in his body!" father wrapped his arms on my shoulders.

"But still, I'm grateful he's growing up right without giving me troubles." He uttered and glared at me. I forced myself to laugh even though he was already wrapping his arms at my neck tightly.

"Come on, Father. You're drunk! You shouldn't put your liver through, too much." I told him while forcing myself to speak.
