No one raised their hand.

Y/N glanced at the teacher, who just nodded her off to her assigned seat. And so, Y/N walked to her desk and sat there, avoiding the glances of the other students.

She sat in the back of the classroom, unfortunately. A particularly tall, svelte boy sat a seat in front of her, blocking the board from. In a fit of frustration, Y/N tapped the boy's shoulder. "Hello?"

The young boy turned around and glared at her. "What do you want", he asked rather rudely. The other students stopped looking at the board and turned to the raven haired boy and Y/N.

"I'm sorry but you're blocking my view. I can't take notes." Y/N returned his glare but the stranger was unaffected. "Well, that's a shame, isn't it?" He turned to the board and continued his work.

Since the situation seemed to have simmered down, the teacher and students went back to the lesson. However, Y/N wasn't done.

Y/N took a scrap of paper from her backpack and wadded it up. She flicked it at the boy's head, but it hit his ear, causing him to flinch. Still, he did nothing.

The game would continue until Y/N began flicking bits of graphite from her spare pencils. That's when the boy had enough. He quickly stood up and glared at Y/N. For some odd reason, his shadow seemed to loom and overwhelm her.

The other students looked back at him and the new girl. They whispered among each other.

'Does she know who she's messing with?', one student asked their neighbor.

'Foolish girl', another said.

'What's Joe gonna do?', a student asked.

'Hm, so his name is Joe.', Y/N thought.

Anyway, Y/N and Joe would continue to stare- or glare, if you will- at each other.

"Meet me outside", Joe said in an angry, hushed tone. His charcoal eyes pierced into Y/N's own soft, E/C eyes.

Y/N kept her glare until she burst into a tiny fit of laughter. "I'm guessing you're the school bully. Okay, I'll see you outside but if you don't mind-" Y/N swiftly put his books on her desk and her things on his desk. Then, she sat in his seat. "Thank you!", she chirped.
