There was no convincing Y/N to stay. There just wasn't.
At first, Y/N's parents managed to keep her at bay for a while. They figured maybe she would be able to settle and if they were lucky, she'd get over it. However, that wasn't the case.
One day, after a very quiet breakfast, Y/N hurried to her room. Her mother followed after her, expecting Y/N to need a consoling shoulder to cry on. Maybe the weight of her holding everything in just became too much for her. Instead, she saw that Y/N had started to pack some of her clothes into a suitcase.
"You're following her?", asked M/N. She stood at her daughter's door, watching her pack her bags and look for anything else she could need for her trip. She sighed softly.
"You know I am, mum", Y/N replied. She choked back on tears. Tears were of no use to her at the moment. She had to pack and catch the next train to Andalusia. "There's no point stopping me either."
"I know and I won't. You're too stubborn", the older woman admitted with a casual shrug. "It looks like you're all packed." Her eyes met her daughter's and for just a second, she knew this was the most important thing to her. "I'll walk you to the station."
Some Time Later
Nearly a day later and Y/N's train had stopped at a small tourist trap of a town. It was not Andalusia but it was the train's last stop. The tiny vaudeville village stood in the middle of a vast desert. It seemed like the town and its inhabitants were pretty much the only signs of life around. Y/N hoped to find directions or at least someone that could help her get to Andalusia.
"I wonder if Acacia stopped by this little town," Y/N thought.
Upon stepping past the large EXTRAORDINARIUM sign, Y/N was greeted by the stares of nearly everyone. She responded with an awkward, yet polite smile. Despite giving her cold or funny looks, they all seemed to avoid her. It wasn't until she accidentally bumped into a very tall, thin woman. "Oh! My apologies, madam-"
"Watch where you're going, runt", the woman cut her off before taking a drag of her cigarette.
Y/N bit back a snarky remark before dusting herself off. "Will do, ma'am, but if you don't mind, I was wondering if you or anyone knew a way of getting to Andalusia-".
Again, the elongated cobweb of a woman interrupted Y/N, but not before rudely blowing her obnoxious cigarette smoke in Y/N's face. "The next train doesn't come till tomorrow evening. We do have a girl from Andalusia. She might help you. Do you have a place to stay? If not, you're welcome to board with her but we don't accept freeloaders here. You'll earn your keep even if it's for a night."
Y/N peered at the sun setting behind the thin woman's shoulder. She wasn't too keen on sleeping outside in the desert so she accepted with a nod. "Yes, ma'am. I promise I won't be any trouble."
The decrepit looking dame waved Y/N off. "Whatever. Seeing as you'll only be here temporarily, you'll be stuck with the Andalusian girl. She's a clumsy fool so you'll have your work cut out for you. Understood? Good. You'll find her caravan next to the gazebo." With that, the lady left, leaving Y/N to her own devices.
Regardless, Y/N took what information she had been given and ran with it- literally. She ran around the Extraordinarium's grounds looking for the caravan next to the only gazebo there.
It felt like Y/N had been running for a long time seeing as she was still looking for the stupid gazebo even after the sun had gone down. It wasn't until she saw a crowd of people all head in the same direction. With an exasperated sigh, Y/N decided to follow them.
