A/N: The Confession series is for the Valentine's Day special. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Love you all!
Acacia had been tossing and turning for most of the night. She couldn't stop thinking about Y/N for some odd reason- well, not for just some odd reason.
There was no odd reason. Acacia had come to terms that she had fallen in love with her best friend but as of late, her love had grown and it seemed to consume her. She felt like singing and dancing whenever she was around her friend and her heart was as light as a feather. It hit her like a ton of bricks. She couldn't rest and it was eating her up.
Finally, Acacia decided enough was enough. She lit a candle and dug through various pretty laces and rosy red cards. If she couldn't bring herself to tell Y/N how she felt without feeling physically ill, then the best she could do was write it out for her.
It struck her as funny. Acacia knew she was a very vocal person, outspoken in every sense of the word but she couldn't quite see why she couldn't bring herself to confess her feelings to her only confidant. That's why she stared intensely at the heart shaped card in front of her. There was so much to say but what could she say?
Maybe that every time Y/N smiled, the sun threatened to explode knowing it couldn't compete with Y/N's radiance?
Perhaps how trillions of miracles had occurred eons before the existence of either girl but had happened just so they could be made for each other?
How about the fact that a million war drums couldn't compare to the way Y/N made Acacia's heart beat with just a single glance?
It was so frustrating! Acacia could quite literally sing Y/N's praises but she couldn't bear to write it all down. She stopped and threw herself on her bed. She closed her eyes and thought about Y/N. Her heart ached as she dragged herself back to the old writing desk but she knew what she had to do.
Later in the morning, Acacia paid a theatre girl to deliver her card to Y/N's doorstep. She had nearly worried herself to death over a simple card but she was slightly less uneasy after the theatre girl guaranteed its delivery.
Y/N had been told by the family maid that she had received a very pretty letter in the mail. Just by looking at the handwriting on the envelope, Y/N knew it was from Acacia. Her heart skipped a beat as she took the letter to her room to read it in private.
The heart shaped envelope had some pressed flowers inside- roses, tulips...and peonies. Y/N blushed before reading the letter. It was a poem.
Dearest Y/N,
My heart is in your hands.
You keep me awake at night.
I know we are more than just good friends when we sit together by candle light.Your love hit me like a cannonball.
You're the most beautiful girl under the sun.
I can't think of anything else at all.
I'm under your spell- what have you done?Eternally yours, Acacia.
