Chapter 2: Not You

I trudged my trunk down the stairs as it clacked down the stairs as I walked. I sighed when I saw my father and went over towards him.

"Are you all ready?" he asked me and I simply nodded in reply. "Have your letter? You're going to need it." I nodded again.

"Yes, Father." I answered in response. I sighed as I sat my trunk down. He walked over to the fire place and I followed; he put his hand firmly on my shoulder and gripped tightly. I winced slightly.

"Keep your mouth closed and try not to vomit." My father informed. I did as told and kept my mouth closed. "Diagon Alley." He said clearly and I felt my body being twisted in all directions and my stomach feeling like it was in all directions. I wanted to scream but I just couldn't by how fast we were going. It felt like I was going through a small tube and I was being smushed along with my father.

We then landed roughly into another fire place and I barely managed to land on my feet. I felt incredibly dizzy as I tried to compose myself. I shook my head, getting my senses together again as I saw my father walking forward and not looking back. I caught up to him quickly.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I looked up at him. He seemed to have a straight face with a frown.

"Gringotts, it's where you get your money. That way you can do this on your own." He snickered at me. I quirked my eyebrow at him in confusion.

"You're not going to help me?" I asked.

"You can do this yourself," My dad stated. I gaped at him. I can't do this all by myself! I'm just a kid!

We only walked in the building of this so called Gringotts I looked all around the place, staring at the weird things that were working on the tall desks all around the room. We stood right in front of a desk that had a weird thing in it. What is that? It kind of reminds of an elf, except without the joy and happiness.

"Name?" The small elf questioned.

"Aquila Samus," My father said.

"Key?" The small elf asked again.

"It's right here," My dad replied as he put his hand in his pocket an rummaged through it. He pulled out a small golden key and handed it to the elf.

"Come with me," The elf said and hopped off his desk. Father and I follows the small elf.

~Time Skip~

The elf opened my vault to 394 and my father pushed me inside it quickly. I huffed out a breath and looked around.

Mother of Merlin

There was so much money in here! I couldn't believe it! I wanted to grab all the money in here! My father said to grab only a small amount of the money, but I just couldn't resist. I grabbed a large handful and put it in a small sack. I smirked. No way I would just take a small amount of THIS!! I walked back out smirking with amusement. Hey, what he doesn't know won't hurt him, and besides, there's plenty more than to count to figure out I got extra.

"I'm done," I said and got into the cart.

"Good, now I'll leave and you'll just have to do everything on that list. Understand?" I nodded in response. He disappeared only leaving me and the elf. I sighed in annoyance. Of course. . . he would leave me like this when I don't know where anything is.

I soon left Gringotts and took out my list. Hm, let's see here. I need a wand. Where would I get that? Great, way to be a big help, Dad.

I looked around at all the shops and places around me. So many interesting places. I wanted to visit them all. Sadly, I couldn't. I then saw a building that said Ollivanders Wand Shop.
