Chapter 7: Almost Dying
Today was Saturday, which meant that today was the Quidditch game between Gryffindor and Slytherin. I went up to the Slytherin side of the field and got up into the stadium. I was ready for the match to begin. I couldn't wait to see who won the match today. I was finally going to see a Quidditch game in my eyes for the first time! I was really excited for how this would turn out. I heard the time go off for the game to begin and then on "one" the game started as the teams arose high into the sky.
But my smile turned into a frown, a confused one that is. Something was wrong with Harry, but it wasn't exactly him though. It was one of the balls that Harry was talking to me about. It was the Bludger and it was attacking Harry. I gasped, not knowing what to do except only watch.
It was starting to rain and the Slytherin team was already in the lead by sixty to nothing. I was getting really worried for Harry, not knowing how to help in any way. Then there was called for a time out. Will Harry continue to play? Well, of course he shouldn't, his head will be bloody cut straight off.
Ugh, I wish I brought a raincoat or something. The rain was getting heavier. Everyone was laughing at Harry for the way the Bludger was after him and how he was trying to avoid it. Those scums better shut their mouths. Then Harry was right in front of Draco. And that's when I saw it, the Golden Snitch just right above of Draco's head. But he took too long.
I shouted at him as the Bludger had hit him right in the elbow. I wanted to jump right in and stop him, but something held me back from doing so. It was about to attack him again till Harry swerved over to Malfoy and made a wild snatch for the snitch. But that was when he ran straight towards the ground.
Harry caught the Snitch, but he wasn't alright. I immediately jumped off the stadium earning bizarre looks from the Slytherins as I made a mad dash towards Harry. Hermione and Ron were also running along with me as we finally caught up to him. Surprisingly, Lockheart was already there casting a spell on Harry's arm.
"Ah, yes. Well, that can sometimes happen. But the point is, the bone is no longer broken -"
"There's no bone left, you bloody scalawag!" I shouted at him, but he didn't recognize it was me who said that.
"So, Harry, just toddle up to the Hospital Wing - ah, Mr. Weasley, Miss Granger, Miss Samus, would you please escort him? - and Madam Pomfrey will be able to - er - tidy you up a bit." Lockheart said and we took Harry up to the hospital wing. His arm looked awful and repulsive as if it was just rubber.
We took him to the hospital wing where Madam Pomfrey gave him some Skele-Gro that looked really disgusting. She soon left so we could help Harry in some ways.
"We won, though." Ron said.
"Gee, that sure helps a lot, Ron." I retorted. "Why not go up to the Bludger that beat up Harry and tell it that it should just go beat him up again."
"I was only trying to brighten the tension!" He said.
"Well, did it work?" I narrowed my eyes at him glaring coldly.
"N-no," he muttered, looking away.
"I want to know how he fixed that Bludger." Hermione said darkly. They're forgetting that I'm a Slytherin AGAIN when I could just simply ask him!
"We can add that to the list of questions we'll ask him when we've taken the Polyjuice Potion," said Harry. "I hope it tastes better than this stuff."
"If it's got bits of Slytherins in it? You've got to be joking," Ron said. I glared at him once again.
"Uhh, hello? You're forgetting that I'm a Slytherin again. Still here and alive." I said matter-of-factly. He looked at me as though he was thinking hard.
