It was a few days after that. We were able to fix our problems after finally forcing him to properly communicate with me. While we talked, he never mentioned about the notes he saw in my bag that day and I figured it was another discussion for another day. It wasn't something I was comfortable talking about and I could just practically ignore them all together to solve this issue.

It was the break and I was walking my towards my locker to prep myself for the next subjects to come and the moment I open them, countless papers fall down. I see a lot of of the same hate comments written in there. Something along the lines of "bitch", "slut" and the most intriguing one is "Stay away from Mingyu". This isn't the first time so I'm not as shocked as I was when I first saw them but I won't deny that it still gets me every time I see them. It's not really a positive thing to read and receive..

Having no clue to whomever wrote these, I close my locker with a sigh and pick up the fallen pieces of paper. I already got used to them anyways so might as well continue to ignore them. Noticing a pair of hands helping me collect them, I look up to see—Hayoung?

"Do you need any help?" She smiles. That smile of hers clearly hide a lot. The fact that she almost tricked me once using Mingyu says a lot. Now that everything was quiet, I haven't really seen her around. And now that I remember what I heard from the guys, I'm reminded of the fear of what could have happened if I did fall for her trick. She might even be the one who placed all these papers in my locker.

"T-thank you." I mumble and we both throw the papers in the bin. I don't really get why she has to act all friendly towards me when her aura shouts nothing but hatred against me.

I was running out of words to say and wanted to quickly escape this uncomfortable aura that we're in so I bowed and was about to walk away and she holds my wrist tightly.

"Remember this," She declared. "Yoon Nari. You don't know who you're angering." My eyes widened but then I hear my name from a distance away.

"Nari! Want to head to the room?" From a far, I could see Taehyung waving his hands. Hayoung saw him too and quickly lets go of my wrists. Before I could reply, I hear Hayoung chuckle and she quickly walks away.

Taehyung followed my line of sight and asked me what's up. I shook my head and smiled all the anxiety away.

Lunch.

After my encounter with Hayoung, I decided to stay a way from the guys especially Mingyu just for today. It's not that I'm letting everything I read and saw consume me but I don't want any harm coming my way for now. I'd like to give myself a day of calm to actually think things through.

I'm out together with Taehyung right now and I appreciate his company. I haven't been able to spend so much time with him lately now that Mingyu's around so I have a solid reason to actually be wtih him right now. Although, now that Mingyu isn't with me, I'm finally conscious of my surroundings. I side glance and see a table not too far away from where we're seated, I see the boys and apparently, Mingyu's with them as well but the word "annoyed" is painted all over his face.

"If you want to eat with them, I don't mind." Taehyung then mumbled. With a sandwich in hand, he tries to soothe my worries.

"N-no," I shake my head quickly. Seeing that I'm a bit cautious, my best friend raises one of his eyebrows. "W-well. I mean, it's been a while since we get to eat together! Y-yeah."

And it is true! We really haven't been spending time together as of late!

He took a bite from his sandwich and he looked at me seriously. "We've known each other for too long. I know something's up."

The story between Taehyung and me is a bit funny. When I was young, I was really prone to bullying. I was that kid in elementary that cried all the time and was the victim of teasing and bullying and Mingyu used to defend me when I was young. Taehyung and I know each other the same time Mingyu and I met because we grew up in the same elementary school. In fact, it was Taehyung who bullied me back then and it's even funnier now that Taehyung became my best friend! That also explains the reason why Mingyu and Taehyung aren't the actual best of buds.

"There really isn't anything wrong.." I'm doing my best to assure him but I feel like I'm ultimately failing in doing so. "It's just, I wanted some space." I reason out.

He glances to the boys' direction and laughs. He seems to have picked something up.

"I guess he doesn't." He points. I follow his line of sight and see Mingyu's serious gaze. I'm now taken aback and divert my gaze back at Taehyung. Is he seriously looking at us the whole time with that angry expression?! No doubt he's in for a lot of fight! People could seriously misinterpret him in a lot of ways by just the look in his face!

"Look, Nari. I know something is bothering you." Taehyung admits and I sigh. Well, I guess I really can't keep a secret from him, huh?

I sigh in defeat and I soon decide to tell him the story about Hayoung from the very beginning. Taehyung patiently listened but I can't help it but get annoyed bu the fact that he keeps glancing at the boys' direction. It feels like he isn't giving his 100% attention to my story!

"Well, that's what happened." I sigh again. This time though, he looks behind my back and chuckles. "What's so funny, Taehyung?"

He points at my back and when I do look back, I'm greeted by an angry looking Mingyu.

     I sense trouble.
