Jungkook's arm is bandaged and he looks at me with an emotionless face. I realize the situation we're in so I push Mingyu away but he tightened his grip on me instead.
"I'm not letting you go anymore," Mingyu whispered.
Seungcheol patted on Mingyu's shoulder and gestured towards the field. Apparently, the game came to an abrupt stop because of our little scene here and are only waiting on him.
"You should go play.." I unclasped his hands away from me and watch him as he walks away with a frown.
"Hey." Jungkook greeted with a bandaged arm. The guys looked at each other awkwardly by Jungkook's sudden appearance and Taehyung coughed to break the silence.
"Why don't we go take a visit to the clinic? They should check out your arm." He place an arm over Jungkook's shoulder and dragged him away.
Surprisingly, Jungkook was quiet. He only looked at me with no hint of emotion at all and I couldn't guess what he was thinking about. He was staring at me and Mingyu though..
"Let's go sit down?" Hansol suggested and we all went back to our seats and watched the game in silence.
Jungkook seemed to hit a certain nerve with the boys and Taehyung is the only one who can balance it all out. I guess that comes from him being Mingyu's half brother and all.
"Sooo, did you two talk?" Wonwoo whispered. Hansol's too caught up in the game to even hear it.
I nod and my cousin sighs.
"It's already as confusing as it is but Jungkook comes and messes it up even more." He added.
"He seems like a nice guy," I told my cousin. He gave me a sharp glare and shakes his head.
"Behind that handsome face is a personality of a devil. Don't get too attached with him, Nari. I'm telling you this not because I want you to be with Mingyu but because I want what's best for you."
I stare with disbelief. I don't know that much about Jungkook but that doesn't mean that I know so much about Mingyu either. Mingyu's anger towards his father and brother has made his heart cold. He clearly knows what it feels like to lose something that's why he's this persistent towards not letting me go at all.
"What did Jungkook do to make you guys hate him this much?"
Hansol heard what I said and seem to catch the conversation. "Wait, she doesn't know what Jungkook did?" He said with a surprised tone.
So he did do something!
Wonwoo buried his face in his palm and massaged his temple as he thinks of what excuse he can tell me because Hansol apparently spilled the tea, barely.
"Oh. I shouldn't have said that?"
Wonwoo smacks him in the arm with an agitated voice. "Yes, you shouldn't have pabo!"
This scene is so familiar. I feel like I'm missing out on another thing, again!
"Hey, wait a minute. There's something you're not telling me and I think I deserve to know!"
Fuming mad, I glare at both at them to pressure them into telling me that something I'm not aware of. They were anxious but the loud voice from the speakers diverted all our attention to the game.
"1 POINT FROM KIM MINGYU!"
"Ya! This is all your fault that I didn't see that!" I instantly frown and these two just gave me a sly smile.
"I thought you didn't care about him?" Wonwoo asked with a smirk.
I sat down quietly with the thought of calming myself down. Okay, Nari. Let's deal with this in an orderly manner. Let's pretend I didn't say that..
Mingyu ran towards the bench after the coach asked for a time out. I couldn't help but stare in awe as he drinks water and wipes his sweat off his forehead. Is this a commercial?
He caught me staring and looked at me. He gave off a smirk and I clearly know what that means! I look away irritated because he thinks that he's finally getting me back because apparently, my heart melts whenever I see him! I'm not easily won over this!
"Why do you guys keep giving each other looks? Are you two communicating or something?" Hansol joked and I playfully smacked his shoulder. These guys really know how to get on my nerves.
"Why don't you let us join with your sign games?" Wonwoo butted in.
"We are not looking at each other!" I defended myself but things don't really go my way when we all something that I wish we didn't.
While Mingyu was running towards the center of the field, he made a heart shape with his arms and screamed.
"Nari, Saranghaeyo!"
Wonwoo elbowed me and whispered, "Oh, I know you two did look at each other."
I felt my blood gush towards my cheek and I think I know I look like a tomato right now. Ugh! This Mingyu!

"Hey," Taehyung started off as he watched Jungkook look out the window. "What are you looking at?"
He stood beside his friend and there he saw a clear view of the field and Mingyu doing the heart shape with his arms. They didn't hear what he yelled but nonetheless it was already obvious. Nari was seen just a few distance away from the bench and by the looks of it, Taehyung already understood.
"You shouldn't have gone to school today." Taehyung mumbled.
"I had to." Jungkook replied. "I needed to confirm something."
With a puzzled look, Taehyung tilted his head in confusion. "Confirm what? There's honestly a lot of schools you could transfer into but transferring here? I know this isn't a coincidence,"
Jungkook looked at him with a stern expression. His eyes were serious and gave no room for playfulness.
"I wanted to confirm my feelings for her, Taehyung. It's been years since I last saw her and yet it has always been her."
