It felt nothing, honestly. It was probably because of my emotions that made me this numb but deep down, underneath all this anger and sadness, I knew I felt pain. I knew it'd hurt me to see the man I love deny everything we had. This is what I wanted, wasn't it? But why is it hurting me?
"Hey, Mingyu." Wonwoo cooly called out.
Mingyu didn't spare a glance and just walked passed me after he bowed to my mom and aunt and ignored me again as if nothing happened.
I sat beside my mother with a blank feeling. She noticed so she sat incredibly closed and flashed a warm smile.
"I'll go entertain the boys for a second," my aunt says and leaves the kitchen.
"What's with that cheeky smile?" I ask. It was more of a smirk though.
She poked my sides then my cheeks and looks at me knowingly. "You find him handsome, don't you?"
My eyes widened with shock. This scene was supposed to be the part wherein I spurt out all the water I drank due to hearing something ridiculous.
"E-eomma!" I push her away slightly and she chuckles. She glanced at the living room then back at me.
"You don't have to deny it, Nari!" I rolled my eyes and ate the slice of cake that was prepared for me by my aunt then the door bell rang.
"Yo! Yo! Yo! Hansol and Seungcheol in the house!" I heard a familiar voice and when I looked back, I saw both Hansol and Seungcheol with huge grins on them.
"Aigoo! I'm so glad you boys made it!" My aunt cheerfully said while she gave them warm hugs.
"Eomma, why are we the only guests?" I whisper to my mom.
"Unnie will be having another party tomorrow with her friends. She wanted to have one with her family and some of Wonwoo's friends."
When the two guys went here to the kitchen with my aunt, they both had surprised faces to see me not because I was there but because I was in the same house as Mingyu.
I joined them in the living room soon after but I sat in the sofa opposite to where Mingyu sat. Hansol then chose to sit beside me as the boys watched and played this racing game my cousin put on.
"It must be awkward?" Hansol whispers. I nod and sigh. "Did you two talk?"
"We didn't but he and my mom did." I whisper back. He looks funny with his surprised expression that I playfully smack his arm and laugh.
"Someone's angry, I see." He whispers and laughs with me.
"I'm not!" Half whisper, half shout.
He shakes his head and pointed in front of us behind the pillow he was holding and when I did turn my gaze towards the direction, Mingyu was looking intently at our direction with a frown on his face.
"Oh." I mumble after getting what he wanted to say. "He doesn't care, Hansol."
"You keep saying that, Nari." He shrugs his shoulders and we continue to watch the game.

After the movie, my mom wanted to go home but my brother insisted on staying so my aunt said that he could sleep over and spend time with the guys. I was surprised to see them all get along so well. It's not that he gets to see these guys everyday well except for Wonwoo since he's our cousin but my brother got a long really well with the other guys. Shockingly, with Mingyu too.
"It's getting late, unnie. We need to go." We were already waving good bye when I heard Hansol whine.
"Ya! Nari! Do you really have to go?"
"Yooyoung, she could stay too, you know. She could sleep at our guest room while Jaeri sleeps at Wonwoo's room." My aunt replied.
My mom looked at me awaiting for my answer but I didn't know what to say. I was okay in staying and I was also okay with going home.
"You can stay, Nari." My mother said. She gets close enough to whisper something in my ears before she left.
"I know you deny it but I could see it in your eyes that you're interested in that Mingyu guy!"
My eyes widened and my mom giggles. "No boyfriends yet, though!"
"Eomma!"
