His arms wrapped around me, holding me in a tight hug. Lavi's smile disappeared, he had a look of sorrow and relief. I had my face buried deeply into his shoulder, I don't remember the last time I cried, but I was crying. It was heard throughout the cafeteria, looks were being exchanged at us. Allen stood off to the side, unable to process what was really happening. Right now, I felt like I was safe, and home.

"Hey now, why are you crying?" Lavi asked pulling me away by my shoulders. I sniff and wipe away the moisture set on my cheeks with my sleeve. "Aren't you happy to see your big brother?" He gave a faint smile, but I could tell he was hiding his pain. I covered my eyes again, trying not to burst again. "I'm sorry." I gave a hysteric laugh. "It's just been so long." I mumble into my sleeve. Lavi smiled a bit and pulled me into another hug. "I know, I know. I really missed you too Ivory. Look at you." He looks at me. "You've grown to be a fine young lady eh?" He pats my head. I roll my eyes. "I was eleven when I left Lavi, of course I've grown." I smirk a bit. Lavi gave a small chuckle. "And still sarcastic as ever." He patted my head.

"So, your an exorcist here too?" I question looking at the way Lavi was dressed. He grinned a bit and nodded. "That's right." He told me, my eyes enlightened. "Oh my god that's amazing!" I clap my hands cheerfully. Lavi let out a small laugh. "So when did you get here?" He questioned me. "Actually I got here today." I tell him, Lavi nods. "And how I everyone treating you?" He questioned me again. I froze, I open my mouth to say something, but my mind was blocked. Lavi's smile suddenly disappeared. "She got off to a rough start." Allen stepped in, I look at him. Lavi tips his head. "Oh?" Allen nods. "Yeah, she was mistaken for an Akuma at first. Then she was freaked out by Hevlaska, then got into a little scrap with Kanda." Allen explains to Lavi.

My head throbs at the sound of Kanda's name, we didn't even get to know each other and I already hate him. Lavi clenches his hands around the handle of his hammer, he has a hammer just like me. I walk infront Allen. "Lavi, it's fine, I'll be fine." I touch his shoulder reassuringly. Lavi looks at me, his eyes made him look like he wanted to kill everyone, but then he let out a sigh. "Alright, as long as it's okay with you." He releases his hammer and then puts his hands on his hips. "Made any friends at least?" He asked me.

I blink, I slowly glance at Allen, I had to say, he was alot more mature than Lenalee was. He also seemed less annoying, although he did knock my lunch all over me. He didn't mention that part. "I did actually, well, one friend." I shrugged. One friend was better than no friend. Lavi nodded at me. "That's good, is it Lenalee?" He asked. I almost choked on my own breathe at what he said, I gave a small laugh. "No, no..." I start. "Actually it's Allen." I point to him. Allen snapped his head up, he nervously scratched the back of his head. "Heh, yeah." He mumbled a bit. Lavi prodded Allen's cheek with his finger. "Uh, Allen, your blushing." He flat out told him.

I glanced over at Allen with a surprised look. His cheeks were tinted a small shade of pink, Allen jumped back and slapped his hands over his cheeks. "Wh-What? N-No I'm not!" He stammered out. Lavi suddenly fell into laughter, holding his stomach. After a little bit, I joined in too. Allen looked at us and he rubbed his head. "Yeah yeah, laugh all you want, hahaha." He mumbled. Lavi and I raise our heads, I had tears in my eyes from how much I was laughing, Lavi's face was a tomato. "Tch..." Allen hisses before turning. "Hey come on Allen...we were only having some fun with ya." Lavi walked up to Allen. "Yeah I know, I was just embarrassed, that's all." Allen gave a small sigh.

"Allen Walker, Lavi Bookman, and Ivory Bookman, report to my office immediately."

All three of us look at the speaker that sat in the corner of the room. The voice obviously belonged to Komui. Allen looked at Lavi. "I know what he's gonna tell us." He whispered. Lavi nodded. "Mission time." He whispered back. I stayed in the back while the two continued to chat with each other. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but by the way they kept looking at me, it was about me. "It's her first mission without training...that's a first for Komui." I heard Lavi whisper to Allen. Allen gave a nod. "Well she does have her older brother to help her right?" He nudges Lavi. Lavi rolled his eyes. "Yeah well she's also got a friend, don't be goin around flirting with her while on a mission there Walker." He elbows him lightly. Allen facepalmed and let out a groan. "Lavi, quit taunting me." He mumbled. I gave a small chuckle at them.

"Komui, you wanted to see us?" Lavi walked into his office, I nearly tripped over the amount of paper he had on the floor. To add to that, he had stacks and stacks of paperwork. "How much paperwork do you have in here?" I mumble to myself regaining my balance. "Too much to go through obviously." Allen said to me as we sat down in a chair. Komui turned around, he looked serious, very serious, it was kind of scary. "Miss Ivory, how confident do you feel on going on a mission?" He looked at me. I felt Lavi and Allen's eyes trail over to me, I blinked. "I think I can handle it pretty well." I say. Komui nodded. "Very well, I've decided that you, Allen, Lavi, and another exorcist will be going on a mission tomorrow.

Allen and Lavi gave a whoop of joy and they reaches behind me to high five each other. I rolled my eyes at their immaturity. "...Wait, other exorcist?" I question. Komui nodded. "You will meet her on your way to the train station, the four of you will be travelling to Spain where there's innocence." He explained to us. I let out a relieved sigh. Finally, my first mission. "So when do we leave?" Lavi asked excitedly. "Tomorrow, you will have a chance to rest up tonight, then leave first thong in the morning. The trip should take roughly around three weeks." He told us. Three weeks didn't seem all that bad, it was better than three months that's for sure.

"You may leave now, get rest, train yourselves. Do whatever you need to do." Komui said to us. We get up and leave, Lavi was hopping around like an Usagi, and Allen was grinning widely. These boys were down right immature, Lavi was always like that, but Allen probably was too. I suddenly felt a different feeling take over, something told me that I was going to regret this mission. I hope that whoever this mystery exorcist was, she was mature. "I'm gonna go rest up." Lavi yawned and stretched his back. Allen nodded. "Me too." They both turned to me. "What about you?" They both asked in unison.

"Me? Im probably gonna go train myself before getting rest, it's risky but at least I'll have good strategies." I shrug. Allen and Lavi looked at each other before shrugging also. "Alright." Lavi said as he stepped inside his room. "See you all tomorrow." He waves and closed the door. "See you tomorrow." Allen waved also and closed his door.

I stood there blinking. They just left me here, not knowing where to go. I gave a loud huff of annoyance and I trailed down a hallway, not knowing where it lead to. Oh well, at least I'm getting a good walk out of this.
