I grab the collar of Allen's coat and I pull myself up, the only thing I could do was hug him. My arms wrapped underneath his, I locked my hands together and kept my face in his chest. I could here murmurs and whispers through my ears, Lavi and Lavina were talking about me. "I-Ivory, what the heck happened." Allen asks with a nervous voice, it sounded as if his voice was strained.
My entire body was shaking, I couldn't control my breathing. "N-Nightmare...I...I..." I can't gather my words together, I just sit there clinging to Allen, thanking god mentally that he's alive and this whole thing wasn't real. Lavina touches my shoulders. "Ivory, hey, calm down, it's okay now." Her soft voice tells me, I shake my head. "N-No...it felt real, it felt bloody real!" My voice raises a little. "Well I would assume so, you were screaming so loud the whole train could-" Lavi was cut off when Lavina elbowed him in the gut. "Goh!" Lavi grunted and fell over.
"What happened Ivory, you can tell us..." Allen pulls back far enough so his voice is next to my ear. A shiver flows down my spine when I pull away. "I-I...." I start to say. Lavina holds my arm gently to calm me down. Lavi stands up and rubs the back of his head, I breathe out a breathy sigh. "I was, back home...where Lavi and I used to live." I start, and it seemed to catch Lavi's attention, considering he sat down immediately.
"I couldn't move, I was strapped to a bed, all I could move was my head." I say slowly. Lavina glanced at Lavi, Allen was still listening carefully. "That's when I heard the thump of a body..." I say. Lavi's eyes widened. "I didn't know who it was so I called for help...." I really didn't want to mention who it was that came into the room, but if they were going to help me get through this, I had to.
"And then she came in." I mumble, Allen blinks. "Who..." He says, sounding worried. A lump forms in my throat, it was really hard to get this out. Lavina was still holding my arm tightly, waiting for my answer. I chew on my lower lip and sigh. "Road, Road K-Kamelot." I stammer out. I look at everyone, Lavi's face turned as white as Allen's hair. Allen's eyes widened, and Lavina covered her mouth.
"W-Why Road?" Allen asked me. I couldn't just tell him, or anyone. Even Lavi doesn't know that I'm born from a Noah, the feeling starts to haunt me. What was I going to do? Will my future at the order be crushed? I shake my head. "I-I don't know..." I pull my knees to my chest and put my arms around them. I really didn't want to lie to them, but I was thinking about my safety. Allen gave a sigh. "Then what happened?" He questioned. That's when I really started to choke up, tears started to fill my bright blue eyes, tinting them to a cool gray. My cheeks started becoming wet with tears, Lavina put her arms around me and hugged me.
"She...She..." I start. "Killed....him." I raise my hand slightly and point my finger at Allen. All eyes turned on Allen, Allen backed up a bit. "S-She what?!" I turn away, not wanting to say anything more. "Okay that's enough, I don't think she wants to say anything else guys." Lavina said sitting infront of me. I mentally thank Lavina for that, she understood me, thank goodness.
We all were interrupted when the train came to a halt, sending Lavi backwards, Allen on the table, and Lavina squishing me against the wall. I grunt. "What the hell..." I growl. Allen looked out the window, suddenly moving away just in time before he got hit with an Akuma bullet. The explosion sent Lavina flying out of the train. "Lavina!" Lavi bolted after, extending his hammer. I was hiding underneath the seat of the train, where I couldn't be found, it was a tight squeeze, but it worked.
Allen hissed a little as he landed on the floor, a cut shown across his cheek. His eyes opened, a sound came from his right eye, and then it changed. It looked almost like a target, he instantly bolted up before he could see me. "An Akuma at this time?!" He yells and then his voice trails off when he jumps off the train. I stay hidden for about five minutes, until I realized that I had to be there for my team. I grab my hammer and scramble out from underneath, then out of the train. There was more than one Akuma, there was ten of them.
Lavina was fighting three at a time, Allen activated his innocence. A parasitic type, he bolted after to help Lavina. Lavi was trying his hardest, as I extend my hammer, I go to help Lavi. Akuma surrounded me, I swiftly dodge their attacks, I destroy about two of them when swarms more surrounded all of us. "Allen, there's too many!" Lavina squeaked. Allen growled lowly. "We can do this!" He says as he goes to attack again. Lavi was loosing strength more and more, I was too honestly.
"Halt!"
The Akuma horde stopped abruptly, We all press our backs together. Guarding each other, we look where the voice came from. "There!" Lavi pointed. I turn my head to see a larger Akuma floating toward us, a small person sitting on top of it. My heart falls into my stomach, it's her. The nasty wretched woman from my dream.
"Well, well, well." Road crosses one leg over the other and grins. Allen hissed, he glances at me, then at Road. "What the hell are you doing here Road." He says lowly. Road smirks a little and floats around us. "What? Am I not allowed to see a person that is very dear to me?" She asks with an innocent voice. If my stomach could fall any lower, it would be on the ground. This was it, I'm done. My secret was about to be revealed.
"Since when do you have anyone dear to you? Your nasty." Lavina spat at Road harshly, Road gasps and floats around to Lavi. Lavi growls. "Your kidding, it can't possibly be me..." He shot at her holding his hammer tightly. Road shakes her head and floated to Allen. Allen crossed his arms, glaring at her. "Well? Are you gonna speak up?" I could tell he was holding back his urge to hit her. Road rolls her eyes clearly annoyed. "I don't want to see any of you, I wanted to see, my dearest daughter."
My heart clenches in my chest, I fall silent and stare at the ground. I could feel her eyes burrow into my soul. Lavi, Allen, and Lavina all glanced at me. Road floated in front of me and smiled, so fake I could smack it off her face. I force my eyes up to hers and glare. "Ivory, what is she talking about." Allen said to me. I stay silent. Road laughs. "Oho! Look at this, you kept this a secret the whole time? Why don't you tell your friends about yourself..." Road laughs. Lavi looks at me. "Ivory, are you, serious?" His voice sounds heart broken.
"Even your own brother, doesn't know about you, how sad..." Road cocks her head to the side. I clench my fists in a ball, fighting back the urge to cry. "Shut the fuck up." I spat at her, moving away from the group I turn around. Road rolls her eyes. "Language..." She whispers and floats around the group. I force my eyes up again, Lavi looks like a bullet hit his heart. Allen looks embarrassed, and Lavina doesn't know how to react. I knew this day was going to happen, I just didn't expect it so soon. I heave a shaky sigh.
"I'm Ivory Bookman, and I'm Road Kamelot's daughter."
