I could still feel him on my tail, Cross was chasing me down like a predator after it's prey. My eyes locked infront of me as I made a sharp turn, to distract him. Cross' footsteps faded slowly, when I felt like I was safe, I extended my hammer and jumped on it. My hammer carried me to the top of a tall tree, I jumped off it and shrunk it down. I look down while clinging on for dear life, Cross was just right below the tree. "Stupid pupil! You ran away from me again!" He growled loudly. "Where the hell are you?!" He called throughout the forest, I stay silent and squeeze my eyes shut. I waited for Cross to leave, after two minutes of Cross calling for me, he gave up.

Cross walked off until I couldn't see him anymore. I was really alone now, I had absolutely nobody with me. I couldn't get down, Cross could still be around in the forest. I let out a long sigh as I shuffled over to a thicker part of the tree, big enough for me to rest. I had to take down some fines that were strong enough to tie myself down while I sleep, if I fell, instant death.

I stayed silent as I tied my legs down tightly to the tree, I leaned myself against the tree and cross my arms. It was going to be a long night once again, well, rest of the night. I didn't know where I was headed, how I was going to get there, and worse, I probably will never find my friends and family again. My eyes started go get heavy, I was relieved when I found it easy to sleep. In about five minutes, I was out like a light.

"KYAH!"

I was awoken when my body weight completely shifted and I swung down underneath the tree, the vines had kept my legs steady, so I basically just hung there upside down. My eyes remained shut as I reached up and clung onto the branch tightly, I could be known as a damn sloth from the way I looked.

I try to ease my breathing, slowly, I managed to untie my legs. I reached out for a near by branch, something then snapped and I was sent plummeting to the ground. Before I could scream, I remembered I have my hammer. "Extend!" I yell as my hammer extended, touching the ground before I did. I slid down the shaft of my hammer and landed safely on the ground.

I look around and listen quietly for any movement, the only thing I could hear was birds chirping. Nobody was walking, nor was anyone around, I was pretty much safe. Before I could start walking, I hear a whale of a sound coming from my belly. "Hungry." I whisper quietly to myself. What the hell was I supposed to eat, I was in the middle of a forest. I shake my head and choose a direction to walk, I start my way deeper into the forest, hoping that I could find at least some help, other than Cross.

Hours past quickly, I was now starving, and desperate. My vision was starting to grow weak, I couldn't stop now. I still had hope left, I hiss a little and look around for something. I had to think of a way to survive in a thick forest. Being by myself wasn't the best thing for me, but I've dealt with it before, so how bad could it be?

As the sun drifted through the sky, I grew more and more tired, earlier I had used my hammer to catch small animals. I didn't have the strongest stomach to eat them, but I had to, to stay alive. I didn't know where I was at this point, I could be almost out of the forest, or buried into it more. I grew tired slightly, I stop in my tracks and sigh. Using my hammer I took myself to the top of a tree where I was going to rest up of course.

I can't say how long it has been since I cried for someone, but as soon as I sat down, I started to lose it. I hiss in a breathe as tears flowed down my cheeks, moistening then. "A-A...." I tried to say, but I kept getting interrupted by a hiccup. I cover my face with my hands and stifle a loud, grieving sob.

"Allen."

The name slips from my mouth when I cry for him, it isn't a cry of anger, or hatred. I cry for him because I missed him, I wanted to be by his side again. I hated the way I spoke to him yesterday, I've never had so much regret for one person. Images flashed through my mind about yesterday, it made me cry even more.

"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!"

The memory of me snapping at Allen had gotten to me, and then, I finally snapped. I enclosed my ears with my hands and scream as loud as I can, I wanted this nightmare to go away. I wanted to go back, sure I don't have a home, but I could just got back to the order, tell Komui what happened, maybe he will let me have a break. The only problem wad that this was my first mission, he would never let me do that. I screamed for a good thirty seconds before I stopped. Come on Ivory, pull your self together! You're and exorcist! You have to be strong, you have to survive, even if nobody is there to help you, you can do it.

My self motivation cheered me up a bit, my tears stopped flowing from my eyes. Although, my lips quivered like I was about to burst again, I stayed quiet. Closing my eyes, I let the memories of the past fade, it wasn't that dark out yet, but after all that walking, I grew extremely tired. I started falling asleep, before I did, I opened my mouth and let it slip.

"I miss you Allen."
