My alarm went off, disturbing me from my thoughts. I hadn't slept at all last night. All I did was cry. Want to know why? It was because I'm moving. After living in America for so long, I suddenly had to move to Korea -and in the middle of the school year too. The reason we were moving was because of my parents. I was mad at them and blamed them for the sudden move even though I knew it wasn't really their fault. It was because of their jobs. I would miss my friends that I had known for basically my whole life, and it would be hard to stay in touch with them because of the time difference.
Ding! I peered down at my phone.

I hugged my friends as hard as I could and tears pricked my eyes.
"Omg I'm gonna miss u guys so much. Am I even going to be able to make new friends in Korea?" I panicked.
"Don't worry. Everything's gonna be okay Amber," Catherine reassured.
"You guys are the best." I sighed. "I really have to get going now. Don't forget to text me and call me everyday guys. I'm gonna miss you!"
"We'll miss you too!" My friends cried in unison. After one last hug, I walked home, trying to imprint my neighborhood into my mind so I would remember it forever.
