Hakyeon's POV

I knock on the door and hear Wonshik call out. I turn the handle and open the door. I am surprised by what I see.

Wonshik is on the ground with a male figure hovering on top of him. Wait. I know that male figure.

"Taekwoon?" I say aloud.

"Hakyeon?"

Why is Taekwoon here? More importantly, why is he on top of Wonshik?

"Should I come back later or?" I go to leave the apartment but Taekwoon calls out.

"No. Stay" he pushes away from Wonshik and stands. "I live on floor 9."

"Oh" is all I say. I don't really know what to say. I'm still confused as to what I just walked in on.

"Would you like some tea?" Wonshik asks me. I shake my head and clasp my hands together.

"So, when did you guys meet?" I ask them both.
"Only the other day. Wonshik started talking to me in the elevator" Taekwoon quickly explains.

"Are you guys like best friends now?" I smirk and Wonshik and Taekwoon quickly shake their heads.

"I was just stopping by to apologise for sending you away this morning Wonshik" I decide to change the topic. I thinks it's best for everyone.

"It's fine Hakyeon. Don't stress" he passes me a steaming cup even though I didn't ask for it. He's good like that. If he has too much tea or coffee, he will basically force you to have a cup. Sometimes even several cups.

"Thank you for having me over this afternoon. I should get going" Taekwoon excuses himself. He mutters a goodbye to me before leaving the apartment.

"I should get going myself. It looks as though you have things to get through" I sigh and place the mug down on the table before heading to the front door.

"Hakyeon at least finish your tea. It's going to expire soon" he frowns.

"Goodbye Wonshik" I wave at him and leave.

--

Hongbin crunches away at a bowl of chips when I get home. He is watching some kind of game show.

I sit down beside him and take a handful of the chips for myself.

He doesn't say anything as we watch the show in silence. The only noise is our laughter every few minutes.

The credits begin to roll and that is when we finally speak. "How was Wonshik?" he asks me.

"He seems to be well. I think he is enjoying the single, carefree life" I say honestly.

"We are both single too yet we don't live a single carefree life" he pouts.
"You sure? Says the one who always wears fake glasses because they make you look hot" I add extra sarcasm to the last statement.

He punches my arm and snickers at me. I just laugh and lean back into the couch.

He hurried to change the channel and we watch some of the news. My phone rings, startling us both.

I sigh in annoyance when I see Hong Jae's caller ID. "Do I have to?" I look over at Hongbin and he just shrugs his shoulders.

"Yes?" I answer it sharply.
"Hakyeon. You need to pack your bags" he states and my I find myself short of breath.
"Why?"
"Because you are going over to Japan to meet our new Japanese client."
"Why can't he come to Korea?"

Hongbin immediately turns off the TV and listens in on the conversation. I put Hong Jae on speaker so he hear.

"Because he needs his schedule to be sorted before he heads over to Korea. You'll be over there for at least two weeks. There are high expectations for him so you should feel honoured" he explains.
