Jaehwan's POV

He always seemed to be the perfect guy. He always made everyone at school turn heads when they saw him passing.

I was one of those people.

I just fell for his spell like everyone else.

Except, he decided that it was fun to play with my frail mind. I was never good at sticking up for myself.

I had Sanghyuk who always stepped in for me when I wouldn't. He was my best friend.

I first met Dochan when I began university. It wasn't until it was my second last year their that I went on the first date with him.

He was kind, caring and funny. Three traits which I had always wanted in someone.

I felt honoured as well as in disbelief when he first asked me to grab coffee with him after our science lecture.

The news travelled fast and soon everyone knew of our coffee meet up.

He was taller than me and boy was he attractive. I looked live roadkill by his side.

His tanned complexion with his dyed blonde hair made him the definition of beauty at our university.

We had been dating for a month and I believed that I had found myself the love of my life. He treated me really well and he made me really happy.

Even Sanghyuk believed he and I were a great match. He agreed that we looked great together.

It wasn't until that fateful night on valentine's day where he saw Sanghyuk seated at a table near ours, that I found out of his true colours.

I can see Sanghyuk seated at the table three down from ours just as he said he would be.

He told me that he had to follow us out to make sure that everything went fine.

"Thank you so much for the meal" I thank Dochan as he returns after paying the bill.

He seems tense. He roughly shoved the money back into his wallet and pushes it deep down in his pocket.

"Is everything okay?" I ask him softly, my face filled with concern.

He rips my chair backwards causing me to flinch. "Did you know that your little friend is seated just over there?"

I look over at Sanghyuk to see him slowly placing down his cutlery and getting ready to head over here.

"No I didn't" I lie. I can only hope that he will fall for it but he doesn't.

"Do you think I'm stupid?" he begins to raise his voice. "Calm down Dochan. He is just eating a meal himself" I try to calm him.

He grabs the collar of my shirt and yanks me out of the chair and holds me so my feet are only just touching the ground.

"You brought him here to watch over us. Didn't you?" he scowls at me.

"No. I didn't know he was here I swear" my eyes begin to well up as I start to feel fear for what is going to happen.

I've never seen Dochan like this before. He is really scaring me.

He pulls his arm backwards before swinging, backhanding the side of my face.

I let out a whimper of pain as I fall to the ground.

"Yah!" I hear Sanghyuk yell out. I see him rush over to Dochan and grab his collar.
