Yuta's POV

The world won't stop spinning. The pain, it's everywhere. The only feeling that I know anymore.

The metallic taste of the blood is thick in my mouth. I breathe deeply as I look at the ground.

The chair is now bathing in a pool of blood.
My blood.

There is no way of telling whether it is day or night down here. No way of seeing out. No way of knowing if help is on its way.

With closed eyes I begin to hum the tune of our new song. Hoping it will hold some kind of distraction from the pain.

The door creaks open and I immediately silence myself once more.

"Have you ever watched Saw?" The man asks as he closes and bolts the door behind him.

"I found some of the things they use in that movie about a year ago and I've been waiting ever so patiently to try them out on someone."

"Please. No more" I plead, my voice is barely a whisper but that is as loud as I can get at the moment.

"Oh trust me. It's your lucky day. There's going to be nothing but pain."

He grabs my hair and yanks my head backwards harshly, forcing me to look upwards.

"You have a pretty face don't you? Why don't we start there today?" I hear something clicking behind me and soon my head has been fitted into a brace, to hold it still.

I go to close my eyes so I don't have to watch but then he forces my eyelids open with another contraption.

"No sleeping."

Hakyeon's POV

The car ride could not have been any longer. We arrive at the address which Taekwoon gave me and I am still confused as to why he would be here.

The security pat me down about three times to make sure I have no weapons or anything dangerous as I enter.

I have to leave my phone in a box which is locked and stored at reception.

Two police officers escort me up the escalator and into a large meeting room.

Taekwoon stands before a whiteboard which is filled with messy handwriting and pictures of Yuta and some people whom I don't recognise.

"Mr Jung" The police officers call out and leave me in the room as soon as Taekwoon turns to see me.

He smiles tightly and rushes over to me, pulling me into his warm embrace.

"You work for the CIA?" I stutter and he pulls back from me. "No. My uncle does. I managed to convince him to let me help with this case."

"Oh" I say and look to the board again to see that someone has circled a place which is very close to where we are on the map.

"Is that where Yuta is?" I ask and Taekwoon nods slowly. "We got a call from the kidnapper himself and he says that if we don't arrive within twelve hours, this friend of yours will be dead."

My stomach feels uneasy by that explanation. It doesn't sound true but there is a chance that Yuta may be there.

"What are you waiting for? Lets go" I take his hand and lead him out of the building.
