Deadass got two comments on that last authors note when I was asking an IMPORTANT QUESTION. I've decided to alternate updates between one a day, and two a day. Thank you all again for reading this shit <3

The pool glistened, the children screamed, the parents ignored, and the life guard sat staring at his phone, neglecting the rambunctious younglings that endangered their own safety.
I dropped my bag on the nearest seat I could find and instantly smothered myself in approximately eighty seven layers of sun screen (SPF 100 ;) ). I pulled away at my coverup and tossed it lazily to the bag that had fallen over, and spilled all of its contents onto the hot concrete below.
I felt the penetrating stares of the pool goers as I let out a stretch to relax my tightened muscles. I didn't mind really, I knew I was probably one of the most attractive ones there, after all, the pool was surrounded by children, middle aged parents, and elderly men and women. A cool cat in her twenties like me really tends to stand out in a situation like that.
Although the lingering glances of the fellow occupants didn't bother me, the stares of the two boys I had came with suddenly made me feel a bit self conscious. Nonetheless, it was nothing I couldn't shake off.
"Guys I want to go in the pool!"
Ignored.
"Guysssss! I want to go in the pooooool!"
Ignored.
"Are you guys coming in or what? I want to go iiiiin!"
Ian glanced up at me from his phone and rolled his eyes.
"(y/n) can you chill for two seconds? I'm trying to figure out when our Australian cunts are getting here."
"They'll get here when they get here, send a text, tell 'em we're in the pool and to come join us whenever! It's so hot I'm melting!"
Ian smirked at me, but quickly concealed it.
"Okay".
I always know when something's going on when he doesn't have a smartass comment to snapback with. Then all of a sudden it hit me.
Where's George?
Two hands grabbed me by my waist and lifted me high above the ground.
George's deep chuckle sounded below,
"Chill, alright?"
was the last thing I heard before my vision was blurred and my ears filled with the bubbles of the over chlorinated pool water. I swiftly pulled my self to the surface of the pool and took in a deep breath.
Ian and Joji were losing their shit at my expense and based on the perfectly angled phone in ian's grubby mitt, the rest of the internet soon would be too.
"I hope you both die of cancer"
I called from the chilling pool. This didn't shut them up yet, they were already putting it in slow motion, reversing it, and putting music to it.
I was about to growl out another death threat but the smooth voice of a tall blond silenced me.
"are you okay Miss? You had quite the fall, and hit the water pretty hard?"
The oblivious life guard from before had made his way over and must have seen the whole thing, he lent out a tanned hand, which I quickly took. He pulled me up and lifted me by putting his strong arm around my waist. Who was I to mind? Shit bitch he's hot???
The tension between the lifeguard and Joji could be felt from a mile away, the question was why? Was he that upset that I was no longer helpless? They both stared at each other waiting for the other to break. Ian and I shifted awkwardly until blondy-mctan-abs spoke up.
"As a lifeguard I'm going to have to ask you to stop horsing around. And as a man with a lot respect for beautiful women, I'm going to have to ask you to keep your hands off this gorgeous young lady"
yikes, not so hot anymore. Kinda creepy, kinda cringey, kinda want him to get his hand off my waist.
"Dude what the fuck is your damage" I spat.
I looked up at him with a face of disgust, and tried to pull out of his grip, to no avail.
"What the fuck man, we were just playing around? Trust me if you saw anyone else get thrown in you'd still be eyeing your empty tinder account. So why don't you get your hands off my girlfriend and go back to your post."
Joji spoke quickly with a drop of venom behind his voice. The last part of what he said had Ian smirking, I didn't think too much of it, I know he was just trying to make a point and get me out of that situation. The entirety of it had me feeling a bit comforted, maybe he didn't hate me as much I thought he did. Attention world! Joji Miller is a nice person everyone!
The lifeguard left in a huff, releasing me from his grip, I felt dirty. Like I needed to take a shower to wash off the feeling of the creepy lifeguard from my skin.
I wrapped my arms around my cold body, and grabbed my towel. I swiftly wrapped it around me, and picked up my bag, scooping in the items that had fallen out previously.
"I'm going back the room you guys, I want to wash the chlorine out of my hair, and the STD's off my hips, you can stay here, but I think I'm just going to chill inside."
They both gave nods and Joji assured me they'd be back up in a while. I walked back to the room in a cold uncomfortable wonder.
