Omg a comparatively long chapter

I pulled into the wide parking lot of the packed hotel, how the others were going to find spots was beyond me.
Dragging my chunky suit case behind me, my backpack strapped around my shoulders, I entered the lobby, immediately spotting the check in desk, a short line had already formed, two small families, and a few scattered people around their 20's.
I stepped in back of the large man currently leading the end of the line and pulled my phone from my front pocket, flipping through the group chat for my playlist squad, letting everyone know I was about to get the room keys. As I sent the message, in the corner of my eye spotted a swish of (H/C) hair, I instantly shot my head up and there she was, a smile as bright as the sun on her face, with obvious bitter sweetness lurking behind it.
She called the attention of the whole room when she stared me directly in the eye and shouted,

"Well if it isn't my biggest fan!"

Her intense and sarcastically beaming eyes never broke their gaze from my own. She quickly ran up to me, her smile no longer resembling one to be feared but one to be welcomed. She took her two arms and wrapped them around my neck, hugging me gently, but quickly, for she soon retreated, giving a pleasant smile, saying, "It's so nice to finally et to talk to you in person, even better now you have no choice but to reply to me!" She gave a cute wink.
I have an awkward chuckle, as my gaze landed anywhere but on her, my hand found its way to the back of my neck as I clumsily rubbed it, trying to search for any words that could help me escape this embarrassing confrontation.
"Ha... Yeah... Sorry about that..."
I tried offering a kind smile only to be returned one that could only be described as determined. "Well I still want an answer."
I gave a puzzled look, trying to play dumb but to no avail.
"Do you hate me?"
I opened my mouth wanting to say something
Anything, but the words didn't form.
She stood her ground, until finally her eyes fell.
"You don't have to say it."
"I already know you do"
I don't.
"But maybe I'll be able to change that, yeah?"
You don't need to change a thing.
"Anyways here's your key, you'll be sharing the room with all the guys, I'll be across the hall in the girls room"
Don't change the subject.
"I was thinking we could go up, drop our stuff off in our rooms and maybe hangout?"
She paused, eyes suddenly losing their confidence and soon filling with regret
"I'm sorry... You probably wouldn't want to han-"

"I don't hate you"
