"I can't believe him!" I screeched.
"Neither can I, he took it too far" Katt was almost in as much shock as I was. Her voice however was much calmer than my own. I could see her trying to bring down my temper. I was practically steaming.
"Katt, you can go back to the convention if you want, I just want to go back to the hotel and shower for the rest of the night." I mumbled to the girl besides me.
"I want to make sure you get there okay" She smiled sweetly at me, to which I showed gratitude through my eyes, my lips weren't quite ready to smile again.
The rest of the way there was an almost uncomfortable silence, however inside my mind was screeching, screaming, crying, yelling and overall mass destruction. It felt like the only thing I could focus on was the sticky texture to my skin as well as the reeking smell from the contents of the water gun. I wanted to barf. Again.
When we finally reached the hotel Katt turned back the opposite way to renter the convention, so she could spend the last hour or two with the rest of the gang. She gave a small pat on my shoulder, which she instantly regretted, given my current state. She wished me luck and told me she hoped for the best, then took her leave. Just because I needed to get away from that place doesn't mean that she had to ruin her own fun on my account.
I got into the hotel room and instantly ripped off all my clothing, dropping it to the floor near my luggage. I snatched a towel from the dresser top and locked myself in the bathroom. I turned on the water and set it to the perfect scalding temperature that would melt any trace of stench or stink.
Why did he do this to me? I thought we were starting to get along. I thought maybe we could work out a friendship and maybe a part of my brain may have even wanted something more.
I sat in the shower, scrubbing with three different soaps, washing my hair four times and conditioning twice. By the time I was done I had spent an hour in the bathroom, and there was about forty five minutes left until the convention hall closed.
I exited the bathroom, a towel wrapped around my torso. The steam flooded from the room and began to dissipate against the cool air of the hotel room.
Through the thick mist all that was visible was a steady male on my bed. Joji. I gripped my towel tighter to my body and ground my teeth tightly at the sight of him. My blood boiled.
"Get out." I barked.
"I want to apologize"
"Apology denied. Get out."
"Please, (y/n)."
"No. Out."
"No. listen to me."
He stood his ground, and showed no signs of moving from his spot. He never broke eye contact from myself.
I let out a deep sigh, giving in.
"Fine, just let me get dressed before you make your case."
His face was greeted by a faint smile crossing his lips, obviously satisfied with my break in stubbornness.
I bent down next to him to grab a new comfortable outfit, and went to the bathroom to put it on. His eyes followed my every move, as if I would disappear had he looked away.
I almost wish I stayed in the bathroom until he got bored and left. My conscious wouldn't let me, and forced me to open the door back up to confront the man who would soon upload a video making me the laughing stock of the internet.
