Chapter one- Hugs, Kisses and stunned faces.
"I wish he'd leave me the hell alone!!" I shriek, "dammit Harry I'll be right back".
I leave him sitting in my cozy little dorm room, almost completely covered in posters.
Between Emma, the girl I share my dorm room with, and I, the room is almost a complete music hall of fame.
From everything between All time low and Pierce the veil, to Tove Lo, Ed Sheeran, and of course, One Direction.
I close the door behind me and stand in the hall awkwardly.
"What, Matt?!" I reply to the guy on the other end of the phone.
"Where are you? Why won't you talk to me??" He pleads.
"Because I'm not that stupid.. Not anymore" I say, harshly.
"You promised. You promised we'd be friends."
"Well you lied to yourself thinking that was anything more than a way to get away from you. You're really effing scaring me Matt.. Where are you? A bar? Again?"
He stays silent, knowing how predictable he is.
"Well I have company right now, I gotta-"
"Who!? Harry!" His voice booms, "What does he give you that I can't!?".
"There's nothing going on between him and I!! And there's nothing going on between you and I either. Don't call this number again. I don't wanna see you at my college. Go sober up, you insufficient, alcoholic douche!!"
I hear him mumble something about "look at miss college girl using big words" and "do you think that changes anything?".
I hang up.
I walk back in my own room, slamming the door, startling Harry in the process.
"S-sorry" I stutter, flopping back into my beanbag chair on the floor and desperately hoping he doesn't notice my undoubtedly flushed cheeks.
"Hey, what's up?" He says softly.
"No, um, nothing it's fine just my ex boyfriend being... An ass" I say, smiling slightly.
"You and Matt broke up??" He asks, making me slightly uncomfortable with his hard gaze.
"Oh, you didn't know.. Yeah sorry."
"Don't be sorry, are you okay?" He says flashing me a genuine smile.
I get butterflies in my stomach and nod quickly.
"Well anyway, Harry, How are you? I don't get to see you in person too much, what's new?" I say, changing the subject.
He'd kill me if he knew why I broke up with Matt. Not only was Matt a alcoholic douche good for parties and nothing else, but Matt was not Harry.
I have been in the fandom for nine years, maybe more. The boys in general have meant so much to me, and I'd never have favorites but I always had a soft side for Harry.
"Well, brooke," he says, teasing me.
My cheeks are only getting hotter.
I love the way he says my name with that gorgeous, deep British accent. Even with as many times we've talked all night, or facetimed, texted, snap chatted, even hung out with each other.... I'll never get used to him being here, that I'm actually more than acquaintances with him. He knows me almost better than my own family.
"Eh yah know, I'm in the same situation you are basically. People suck, huh?" He smiles sadly, I get up and sit on the bed a few feet from him.
"What happened" I ask, lowering my voice.
