MOON RAGE (REVOLUTION)

TRAPPED

Maurinette wakes up.
she tries to stand but falls when she feels a terrible pain on her leg. She looks around then notices that she is not on her soft comfortable bed but on the cold bare floor in a cave like prison. Panic rises in her as she looks around, searching for an escape route. She notices that the only way out was above her and she could not reach the door, especially in her condition. Blood oozes out of her injury then she tears her satin laced night gown and ties the deep holes in her leg to prevent her from loosing more blood.

After minutes of trying, she finally stands and leans against the Rocky wall. She hears noises coming from the deeper, darker part of the cave. Too terrified to move, she screams for help "someone please help me, help me. Please get me out of here"
The noise becomes louder and her screams increase.
"Would you stop yelling" she turns around to see who had spoke to her. She sees a young man, standing meters away from her, she unconsciously moves back till she hits the wall. He walks slowly to her and traps her between the wall and himself "I need my rest and you are talking it away now relax and shut the hell up" he stares at her menacingly then walks away.

Maurinette looks at him, confused then a strange feeling of anger rises in her and she explodes "who are you and who gives you the right to talk to me that way, we are in here together so something tells me you did something bad too and I don't tolerate been tossed around" she suddenly realizes what she had said and covers her mouth. This man was huge, and strong enough to snap her neck like a twig if he wanted too. If she wants to survive and find a way out of the prison, she needs to stay clear of him "am sorry, I didn't mean that. I am just pissed off, I was attacked by wolves and one of them did this to me" she points at her leg.
He stares at her and breaks into a wild laughter which leaves her stunned and self conscious of her words " no offense taken but you really need to be quiet they are everywhere. Sorry about your leg, my brother was probably responsible. I am Rogan"
"Maurinette, I was attacked by wolves"
"Actually they are were wolves"
"And your brother is a were wolf?" she looks at him, surprised and confused
"Yeah, I am a were wolf too" she gasps then slowly steps back and immediately starts screams "please help me, I am trapped in here with a monster. Help me" hot tears run down her cheeks, he runs to her and covers her mouth. She tries to free herself but he tightens his grip, her strength is no match for his so she relaxes and he slowly lets her go "stop screaming damn it. You will be taken to a place worse than this if you do not shut up. I won't hurt you"
She gently steps back and sits on the ground, resting her head on the wall "I am trapped here and I have no idea on how to get out. Mom will be looking for me, in no time the police will storm this place and kill everyone of you" he laughs hysterically "there are police up there do you think we spend our whole day in the forest, like savages or animals. We are humans too, you know"
She releases a mocking laugh "you say humans?, humans with freaking claws and razor sharp tooth" she laughs again "that's human like alright" she says mockingly, he stares at her but can't help noticing how beautiful her eyes were. Her eyes were like the ocean, sea green, her long caramel hair and her freakishly deep dimples which was very clear on her face even when she didn't talk or move her mouth. Her red lips which were small but didn't lack in fullness. 'snap out of it, you are drooling over a maniac ----- a very hot maniac' he notices her eyes, staring curiously at him, trying to find out what was probably in his mind.

She probably noticed me staring at her, he thought to himself.
"Umm---- how do you feel now" he says, pointing at her leg
"Still hurts but, I'll survive" she tucks her hair behind her ear
"How did you get here" she says, trying to remove the awkward feeling that crept into her mind
"My father sent me down here" he says bluntly. He notices the reaction on her face and laughs nervously, raking his hand through his brown hair. " I have a nak for causing trouble and drawing attention to myself" he says confidently and laughs when she rolls her eyes.

After several hours, the door opens and a frail wooden ladder is let down "climb up, both of you" Rogan stares at her and they both stand and walk to the ladder "ladies first" he smiles mischievously, she ignores him and climbs up the ladder.

Two men lifts her up and drags her to a large room filled with people. The people stare at her with curiosity as the men lead her to Gilbert and Joseph. Schilla walks to her and stare at her "what is your name, child" her loud tiny voice pierces into maurinette's ears, she steps back "who ---are --- you"
"What is your name" Schilla repeats, ignoring Maurinette's question
Maurinette folds her arms "I have my rights and I also know you have no right to force me into answering your questions" Schilla breaks into a grin and grabs Maurinette's hand, she pricks her finger and tastes the blood. Maurinette stares at her, terrified.

Schilla's eyes turn black "she is indeed a loarin but I can hardly sense her trail of magic. Her powers are very faint or has been surpressed. She cannot be sacrificed if her full power isn't unleashed, she has to unleash her powers"
"What powers, what on earth are you talking about. I demand you let me go, you are crazy" Schilla darts her tiny intimidating eyes at Maurinette
"I would make her release her powers, she has evaded us for so long and so, the suppressing magic must be very potent"
Maurinette stares at her, confused. She looks around and sees a middle aged man sitting with an old man. The middle age man has the same hair and eyes as Rogan, surprised at herself for noticing such hidden features in Rogan, she mentally kicks herself 'snap out of it, this is not the time to be distracted. I have to find a way out of this place and back to mom. First I have to leave that hell hole. Think Murinatte or you will be trapped her and they will kill you'
