Shawn's POV

I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for the littlest sign of hope.

Camden's doctor came to me I stood quickly and said "How is she?"

He nodded and said "She's fine she needs rest. She hit her head pretty hard and she needs to take the next couple of days resting. Um, she's been asking for you. Would you like to see her?"

I nodded quickly.

He then motioned me to follow him.

I had my hands in my pockets, I nervously bit the inside of my cheek not know what to expect.

As we walked into the room I saw Camden talking to a nurse. She then saw me and smiled.

The nurse looked at me and said "She's on some pain medication so if she acts out of the usual that's why."

I nodded and sat next to Camden. She looked at me and said "You look handsome. Can I have your number?"

I giggled and said "Camden, hun how are you feeling?" She giggled and said "I'm great how are you sexy." She poked my nose. "Shhh don't say that Camden. You're going to be a handful."

"FUCK YAH!"

I laughed so hard at her answer and said "Camden you can't talk that loud, shh." She then whispered and said "Okay, I'll be quiet Mr. Sexy."

The nurse came back and said "She's good to go home I just need you to sign her out. Would you like a wheelchair for her?"

I shook my head "No thank you I'll just carry her my cars right out front. Thank you for the offer. Now where do I have to sign?"

She handed me a clipboard and a pen pointing to all the places I had to sign to take her home.

Where ever that is.

The nurse then gave me her medication and took her IV out of her arm.

I changed her clothes leaving her under garnets on. I had put my sweatshirt on her and I had some joggers that were way to big.

I picked Camden up and cared her and all her things to my car.

I already had her backpack and all the things she had at school on the day of the incident.

I put her in the passenger seat of my jeep and buckled her in slightly reclining her seat so she could sleep on the way to my humble abode.
