Shawn's POV

I sat at my desk as Camden retook a test that she had failed.

As she was working on the test I was working on tomorrows lesson.

I had noticed that she had started humming a tune that was familiar to me.

She stopped humming and looked up.

"Mr. Mendes can you help me with this?"

"Sure."

As I walked to Camden's desk she watched my every move.

Camden's POV

Shawn came to my desk and looked over my shoulder as I showed him what I need help on.

I pointed at a problem that I didn't have in my notes.

"So with this problem you have to explain how us the Canadians got involved in the war."

"Ok thank you Mr. Mendes."

Shawn stayed where he was lingering. He was going to say something else then he walked away.

I watched as he sat at his desk on his phone.

He was texting somebody and he would ever so often look up at me, and grin.

"I'm finished."

"Ok bring it up. You have 15 minutes till your done."

I walked to Shawn's desk and handed him my test, our hands brushed against each other as I pulled away.

He looked at me then cleared his throat and said "You may start on your homework for the next 15 minutes or you can do otherwise."

I nodded and thought what did he mean by otherwise?

Camden you're thinking to hard he probably just meant like use my phone or something.

Right?

Yah that's what he meant I'm his student nothing more.

Shawn's POV

As I sat at my desk I had realized that Camden was writing in a book. It was small and black.

As she wrote she would look up at me occasionally and smile.

What was she writing about?

The fifteen minutes went by slowly. Camden had packed all her stuff away and walked out the door not making any eye contact.

"Do you want a ride?"

"Um, s-sure."

Why did she stutter?

As we walked to the jeep she kept her distance. Why?

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong."

"Why do you seem afraid?"

"I'm not afraid of you Shawn, I just have..."

"Have what?"

"I have feelings for you!"

As she turned to look at me all I wanted to do was kiss her soft pink lips.

And I did.

And she kissed back.
