"(Y/n)! Are you okay?"

"Hghh ghh i-it hurts..." I pointed at my leg. "I c-can't move it. Please hghh phone s-someone."

"I don't have my phone with me but I'll call for help." He stood up and walked a few meters away from me. "Heee is anybody there?! We need help!"

He continued for a few more minutes but it was no use. We were the only ones on the slope. The sky was also getting darker and a moment later snow started falling. The snowstorm had begun.

"We can't stay here. We've got to find shelter somewhere."

"I can't get up."

"Alright I'll carry you."

(C/n) picked me up and we went to the trees next to the slope. After a few minutes seeking for a good shelter (c/n) found a sort of hole between two trees. It was close to the slope because if there was someone we wouldn't miss him.

(C/n) put me on the ground and sat next to me.

"We'll just have to wait here till somebody comes to rescue us. They'll start looking for us when they find out we didn't make it all the way down." (C/n) said.

"I hope so. My leg hurts so much."

"I'm so sorry I dragged you into this. If I'd never asked you to come this wouldn't have happened." He looked at the ground.

"It's not your fault. If you went with the others I would have been all by myself."

We sat in silence and it was getting colder and colder. The storm was still going on but luckily we had a bit shelter. I still shiverred and my breath made little clouds. (C/n) must have seen this because he came closer.

"I'll keep you warm, (y/n)." He embraced me with his arms and held me tightly. I felt his warm breath on my face. His breathing was very calm even though we were in this situation.

"Thanks." I closed my eyes. My face started to itch and I made a movement to my face with my hand. When I almost touched it (c/n) grabbed my hand with a firm grip.

"Don't touch your face, (y/n). It's frostbitten. There is a spot on your cheek." Now he even held me tighter.

I don't know how long we sat there but eventually we heard a helicopter. (C/n) said I should wait here and he ran onto the slope waving with his arms. The helicopter must have spotted us since it started descending. I suddenly felt very warm. Just like in my bed. A smile crept on my face as I saw (c/n) still waving and jumping. He ran to my way and I saw his smile disappearing. He gained speed and as he sat down to me he started screaming things. Things I couldn't hear. I also saw tears running down his face. Then I felt someone picking me up. He lay me on a brancard and I was brought into the helicopter. (C/n) held my hand looking me in the eye and still saying things I couldn't understand.

When te helicopter started ascending I saw the sky getting closer and I closed my eyes.

*piep... piep... piep...*

I awoke and I found myself in a strange place. I was lying on a bed and next to me sat (c/n) on a chair. He was asleep.

"(C/n)?" I said weakly. But it still woke him.

"(Y/n)! Are you okay?"

"Yes, I feel fine now."

"Oh I'm so glad you are!" He hugged me.

"So what happened?"

"When the helicopter arrived you almost... died..." he looked at me. "From the cold. In the helicopter you passed out. I thought I lost you"

I nodded and held his hand. "I'm okay now." I said with a smile.

"I have to go now, to tell the teachers and everyone that were here."

He walked to the door but there he stood still. He turned around and walked back to me very fast. He leaned over me and held my head in his hands. I closed my eyes and I felt his pair of lips on mine. Something what felt like minutes came to an end. He smiled at me and this time he did leave.

"Thank you for keeping me warm,
(c/n)." I whispered
