Vexatious Passion

The trip

Our car was in front a small hotel. Ray came out of the car after Matt they were talking about something in a low tone outside. We could barely read their lips and translate their body language but one thing was usual that they were deciding about the place to crash. And it was the toughest part because both of them wanted sea view along with a villa or cottage kinda place ,which we haven't noticed so far. Su decided to go out and join them I followed her. As soon as I came out of the car all the salty fragrance in the air was different along with the sand I could feel under my feet. We went near to them they told us to stay near the car while they would quickly go inside the hotel and check out.

We barely waited then I heard Ray's voice ,he was waving with an unhappy face. I sensed its a 'no' for him. Matt said the price is high but the service and everything else was total bizarre.
My eyes struck forward as I could see a tiny part of the beautiful blue water peeking out. Without even noticing I felt blissful. Matt said "Why don't you guys go on to the beach while I will go see other places suitable". Su joined him. So it was again me and Ray.

Ray gave a little nudge so I turned my look. He was smiling my heart skipped a beat. The evening ,salty intoxicating breeze, the sound of the waves and him it was a picture perfect moment for me.
Ray- Shall we?
I came back to the reality when I heard a deep voice dropped inside my ear. I noticed Ray with his annoying charm forwarding his hands towards the sea asking me to walk with him. I smiled back and nodded. He said "after you".
God why he has to be these gentleman! And so damn 'attractive' I said in my mind. We moved forward. Step by step as the sea came near the whole scenario was beyond explanation. Because I could see the endless ocean. Suddenly I felt like a little girl cause I never in my life visited a beach before. I couldn't stop myself from giggling. I noticed little marks on the ground Ray explained they were the marks of the baby crabs.
When I was a feet across the sea I couldn't stop myself I just ran towards the water. Felt it, it was sticky because of the salt in it. How huge and endless this is? I was thinking just then I heard Ray laughing and enjoying my activities. I shoot him an embarrassing look. He walked towards me and came closer tucked the strand of my hair behind the ear and said "Today I'm gonna drop you in the middle of the sea". I was horrified with the idea, but he quickly sensed the situation and said"Don't worry I'm just messing around with you. I know swimming I'll never let you go when we'll be there". I don't know for how long we were looking into each other's eyes and we heard the sound of the car. It was Matt and Su.

Su jumped out of the car hugged me and pulled me towards the water. We were splashing the water all over each other. I saw Matt pointed to a small cottage near to the beach. Ray nodded and soon they called out for us. We went to check in , but Matt promised that we'll be soon here in the beach again.

We walked while Matt said he'll drive and park the car there inside the hotel garage. We reached and we loved the place. We took two different cottage for us , one for the girls another one for the boys. Matt reached with the car, as soon as he parked it all of us went to get our luggage. We settled everything inside the room and thought of heading towards the beach. But Matt said he'll enquire about the food and come back. The room service said they will serve food only if we order around four in the evening. But it was already six thirty. Matt decided to check some other places we insisted not to but he just went alone.
After forty mins he didn't come back. We got worried as the cell reception there was bad too .
After all the fuss we saw his car. Su jumped at him and started yelling about he being irresponsible and stuff. But Matt apologised explained the reason to all of us and we came to know there was no food around for the night. We weren't disheartened cause we had some chips and soda the sea was calling us and we were excited.

Finally we headed towards the beach.
