That Night

My hands are cold now!

Suzanne said after shooting me a cold look. I collected that the condition is bad because I have seen this version of Su very rare.
Help us god! I muttered. We started walking towards the next cottage where the boys stayed. We noticed Matt sitting in the stairs. He was still stinking like the sea algae. Su rolled her eyes and asked why still he's all dirty. I assumed looking at Matt that Su as usual was flattering him. I never wanted to interrupt them but I had to because we need to share the horrible conversation we had with Vicky. So I cleared my throat tad bit loud.

Suzanne suddenly started with the topic and explained everything about Vik. So it was a serious situation what we were dealing that time because we were unable to figure something about our family. Vicky said Miranda called both of our mothers and that's not at all a good thing.
Matt was listening all the description from Su while I had a sudden idea. I asked Matt's phone and called a friend of mine, Arine . Asked her to be in conference while I will dial mom's number and let them talk. So mom won't get anything. So I did the way I planned it, and it didn't go that bad. Mom was convinced after all and she said she slammed a nice explanation to Miranda and taught her a lesson. I laughed, explained her that my phone is dead. She seemed she totally bought the whole thing. But still we had to solve the part of Su.
Su was looking at me and she smiled after I gave her a warm hug. She took her phone then called her mom with  and sorted everything in her own charming way. She ran towards me wearing a nice smile I got a relief then. Between all this we didn't notice that Ray was out from their cottage and was chuckling as always.

But still I was worried about Vik. The thought of him so outrageous was killing me from inside. I didn't Know how to deal with him after I return.

Matt soon solved the problem for the time being.

I could only see him explaining Vik over the phone from a distance and throwing his hands in the air. I was just crossing my fingers. Soon Matt walked towards us and gave us a huge relief. He said Vik is convinced for now and we should enjoy the rest of our trip. I sighed , Su and I exchanged a smile of relief.

We forced Matt actually Su forced him to be more precise to get fresh and come back soon. He went finally. Su went inside our cottage to get something. Again it was Ray and me.

There was a small umbrella made of hay near our cottages and some chairs were there underneath. Ray pointed his finger towards that place. So without any queries we headed there. The sea was very close to our place. And the view standing under that umbrella was breathtaking. The yellowish moon was melting all over the water. The stars were like little gemstones stitched all over the pitch dark sky with a pinch of yellow enlightenment. Ray broke the ice between us as I was speechless. I was so lost in the view.
Ray- would you like to stay in a lighthouse someday Syrene ? I never knew that this some days are pointing towards never and I should not fall for any someday as they were booby traps. But alas! I did.

Syrene- yesterday I would have said no but today my answer is yes. Its so beautiful out here.

Ray- I know, I always wondered how would I feel if I was staying in a lighthouse !
Ray's expression was like a little kid,I saw his lips curled up and eyes were full of energy. And that brought a smile on my face. We turned around to liisten to  Matt.
Matt- what's cooking here man! Why can't we just go bribe any room service guy and arrange some food bonfire music and alcohol.
I saw him smirking while saying alcohol. And Ray's face lit up after listening the same word. While me n Suzanne jumped over with the thought of eating some food.

The boys sensed our happiness and went for the arrangement. In the meantime we were Suzanne and me enjoying every bit of the moment. I inhaled the salty smell of the water which was all over the place.

Less than we thought  ha !only twenty five minutes. Good job boys! Su said with a warmth in her voice and walked towards Matt. She surprised me by taking the plate from him as he carried one plate two bottles of beer and some random packaged food. But soon she broke my surprise by saying Don't be so happy I'm just taking the plate cause me and my good friend Syrene is hungry. 
We all sat on the bamboo bench and started eating the boiled corn and cheese omelette. Sorry girls! That's all what we could manage for now. And they said no bonfire arrangement for tonight. Tomorrow we will eat a proper meal and enjoy the bonfire - Ray said. We passed him a quick but thankful smile and concentrated back on our food.
Suzanne burped a lot while sipping the soda. We all were so tired that we wanted to squeeze inside the bed and sleep. At least that's what I wanted . But Ray and I had our own bet. We had a no- sleep night planned before. So I did not let him sleep all the way and its his turn.
Ray- movie? Come on don't you dare to sleep!
I was bound to sit with him. But that gave a chance to Matt and Su so I was kinda ok with the situation cause I was really hopeful about them. So Matt and Su decided to watch tele and I was stuck with Ray. We went to the boys cottage and Matt took Su to our cottage.

We sat down on the bed and Ray was arranging the movie for us. I made myself comfortable. Ray sat beside me and my heart beat went fast. We started the movie, but soon without being aware I closed my eyes unintentionally. My heart almost came into my mouth when I felt his soft lips touching my cheeks. I was hell awake and spellbound too. Ray was grinning. I could sense the blood flushing into my cheeks changing the colour and my temperature was raising.
I couldn't say much, somehow I managed to speak and said Hey! That was not part of the deal. You can't just do that. But soon enough I recognized that my voice was bleak and Ray didn't paid much attention to my words. He is observing the features of my face. I quickly changed the topic by turning towards the movie and raised the volume of it.

The movie was finished and Ray kissed me thrice during the movie as punishment because I was almost asleep. He didn't know about me how I felt being punished. We closed the laptop,Ray said it's three fifteen and he's still not sleepy. So he opened the door and checked on Matt and Su. We did hope that they were asleep but we discovered soon that they were going for a walk on the beach.
Suzanne dragged me apart from the boys and said that they will come after sometime and I should enjoy my time with Ray. According to her I should stay with Ray for tonight talk to him and know him better because she thought its going well between us. I asked her if she wants to spend time with Matt and she seemed excited about the fact so I agreed. Because I knew that nothing's going to happen between me n Ray. I needed a place to sleep and was really looking forward to hear something interesting about her and Matt.
