My head was a little heavy when I woke up. I took a moment for myself before getting up.
What is going to happen today when I will meet Ray!
I switched my phone on. I had an important meeting to attend to.

After taking a prolonged hot shower I looked at the reflection standing opposite to me on the mirror. I felt happy with her. I could hear mom calling me out for breakfast. I got ready quickly and tied my scarf on the side of my bad, curled my things together and dumped somehow inside my bag as I was already running late.

'Good morning mother,' don't be angry (in between I somehow gulped my coffee)
Kissed her good bye and I took off.

Evening

I never wanted the evening to come there was an intusion bugging me that what's going to happen is not right. But I was busy in my work. After the meeting it was time for me to check my cell. 10missed calls! They were from Ray along with 5 text messages.

There was a soft knock on my door.

'Honey it was a very successful meeting. I just got a call from Willson Farm & Co. They accepted our bidding'

I went closer to Mr Petrakis and hugged him out of joy. He's an wonderful person and of course I love my team.

He announced it by keeping me by his side. I was so full of happiness I can't explain. Mr Petrakis trusts me more after the success of the Smith project. I enjoy that to the fullest.

As soon as I finished winding up my desk my phone started ringing. It's Ray, oh shit! I forgot to call or even text him for once. I was so busy but will he understand!

I picked it up.
Ray-My Angel I have been missing you the whole time. Where were you?

My stomach started churning again my head took a zing. His voice melted my whole body into something very soft. I felt his deep voice ringing inside my ear and reaching to my soul, as a thirsty wanderer finds his musings. My heart shouted in bold letters I miss you and I love you.

I managed to speak strong and stop my fast heartbeat. Hey Ray! I was little caught up by my work honey. I'll see you in a bit I guess...

Ray- what time? Shall I start now? I can't wait to see you!

Syrene -6ish.. I suppose. Don't worry baby I'll reach there.

Ray- Okay then. C ya.
I finished up soon. Gave all the details for tomorrow morning to Linda and left my office. I wanted to check myself before I see him. But he likes me anyway. Today I didn't texted Su to come along as Ray wanted to meet alone. I was excited to listen about Ray's trip and everything else.

The meet
I opened the door of the cafe and from afar I seen him. He was looking into his cell phone. His hair was falling on his forehead. He deep eyes were blinking. His wide arm rested on the table. He was wearing black. And here it happened again. He makes my heart beat faster. Something happened to me as I took each step towards him. Something was dragging me. I could  smell his cologne. The known smell I am addicted to.

Ray stood up and pulled the chair for me, took the bag from my hand and hugged me hard. I held him back.

Ray - I wanted to talk baby. But first let me see you.

My chick turned red. I felt the warmth in my body as he held my hand. We both exchanged a sight. He tucked my hair behind my ear. Held my chin and said I missed your face. I smiled at him and kissed his hand.

We spoke for sometime about his trip his family and ordered  some food.

Ray - Baby I wanna go with you for your next office trip and wherever you go. We'll plan trips together. Hand in hand. I miss you when you are not around. I thought about this and you can't say no. I never wanna leave you alone. I'm always there for you my love.

I can take over an argument. I can the deal for my office but my knees starts to weaken infront of Ray. I couldn't oppose. Though I knew we were from different places. He won't keep his words but still I went along. I knew it won't last. I knew it won't stay. But why this commitments of staying by my side. And still after realizing everything I can't let myself away from him. Why...?
