My meeting was held late because of Ray. Mr Petrakis was waiting for me when I arrived in his cabin with Linda. I saw everyone is waiting for me.

I was feeling the butterflies still in my stomach because of the incident happened with Ray. I knew it was not the time to think about him. But his fragrance was lingering throughout my body.

Somehow I managed to stop myself from blushing and knocked on the door. Mr. Petrakis always gives a warm smile even when I am late. At times I really feel lucky.

"Come inside Syrene" Mr. Petrakis said softly.

"Yes sir .Thank you so much Mr Williams and everyone else. I am extremely sorry for the delay. Now with your permision I would like to highlight the investigations I made about the upcoming project .It will be reflected very soon on your screen please be with me...."

"So my dear it's time for lunch " Mr Petrakis winked at me.

I crossed my fingers. I wished my pitch went well. I made out from their faces that they are happy with our terms.I quickly took the file and other notes of mine.I rushed towards my cabin to check again on everything so that the lunch goes well.

The evening

After the lunch even though I have to mention that it did went well I was super excited to share everything with Su. I took my ph to call her. There was a text blinking on my phone from Ray. Please call me ASAP. xoxo. Everything came back in a flash as soon as I saw his text. A smile made its way on my face. I took a moment and closed my eyes. But before I could think it was Linda knocking on my door.

"Yes Linda How can I help you?"

At first Linda cleared her throat then started with her regular way "Ms. Forbes !Mr Petrakis wants to meet you."

"Thank you Linda. I will be there shortly"

I somehow typed a message to Su. There's a lot to talk about.Call you soon.

Mr Petrakis was serious than normal which occured different to me. I knocked on his door softly to talk.

"Please come inside and sit down. And close the door"

I sat quitely hoping for something bad. Though I am working for him for quite a long time and he never said anything to me.He loves me like his daughter but today his tone is different.Is it about the Richard's farm meeting or with the Willam's I said something? So many questions were going on my mind.

"My dear Syrene there's both good and bad news. Tell me which one you want to hear first? "

I remained silent as I could not think of anything.

"Okay. I will make it easy for you....As you know I have always thought you as my daughter and never really as an employee. But still I am your boss. So the incident which happened today in your cabin can never happen again as we are working here. I understand your and Mr Bateman's emotions. Even I am well aware about his family and his father. I can never say about your dating and personal life but surely I will suggest you to be careful. Don't take me wrong dear it's just a fatherly concern. The board also called me just after the incident happened as it's against the HR policy too.Now comes the good news. It was a great pitch from your side the Williams are ready to negotiate with us. And about the Richard's farm I know you can do better just push it a little as you have time now."

Mr.Petrakis took a breath and took sip of water from his glass of water then looked into my eyes.

I was having a mixed emotion where fear and shame were dominating my happiness.I was losing my words where I could not find anything to say in reverse.

Somehow I could only manage to say ."Yes sir. It would never happen again.I understand the problem I caused for you. I'm extremly sorry and.."

But before I could say more Mr Petrakis stopped me from appologizing.

"It's ok Syrene. Just take care from the next time because it can never happen again."

I came back to my cabin closed the door and I could not think but calling Su.The only person who can calm me down and tell me what to do was her. She picked up.

"Urgent meeting. Now in Cafe. Reach within 30 mins." I could only manage this much. I grabbed my things dumped everything in my bag and took off for the day.
