Waking Up

My head felt heavy as soon as I opened my eyes. I saw Su sleeping on a couch and my mom on a chair beside my bed. I didn't understand first where I was! I tried to get up from the bed and the hand started hurting like sh*t. I saw a huge plaster on my hand and I lost it. I screamed with fear that eventually woke up Su and my mother. They both came rushing towards me.

Su- Babe hey!  ssshhhh... We are here . Don't worry nothing happened and she hugged me.

 Mom-Dearest baby,how are you feeling ? We are here for you honey. Don't you worry.

What happened guys? I asked.

Su- I'll explain. But before that we have to inform the doctor that you are up. He requested us to let her know. As soon as you wake up.

Mom- I'll go and inform . Su honey do you need some coffee? I'll get one for me.

Su- Yes auntie, so kind of you.

Mom- No problem dear. Syrene, honey drink some water. The doctor told to keep you hydrated.

Mom opened the door and walked away.

Su- Babe you were running like mad. I had no idea what you have seen! You were behaving like you have seen a ghost. Ray was trying to catch you and he told me to get your purse and coat so I did. Then I started to run behind both of you. But surely I couldn't catch anyof you. We were shouting like mad but before we could stop you, you started running between the traffic. And you got hit by a car. It was not the fault of the driver. It was an old UBER  driver. He was so sacred that he almost passed out. He drove us all to the hospital. I called your mom for the paperwork.

And how this happened ? I asked her showing my arm.

Su- Yeah that's a minor sprain. No broken bones. You should thank your stars that after falling so hard you didn't break anything.
Now Miss Forbes I know probably this is not the time to ask you but what happened! Why you lost your senses yesterday night? You did call me though once but when I picked you never spoke.

Ray was making out or god knows may be having sex with a sl*t.

Su- What? Are you for real right now? But? OMG!!!!!

Su held her head and sat down hard in the chair near my bed. But before we could talk more about this matter the door opened and Dr. Miller entered with her beautiful smile with my mom and a nurse. She is one of the oldest doctor in the town. We al townies know her pretty well.

She started checking me. Told me to close my eyes but asap I did flashes of Ray kissing that girl came in my mind.

They released me in the evening. I sat in the car with Su cause my mother went back home as she was up all night for me.

Su ignited the engine . And pushed myself back in the seat as I was tired and in the pain. Su started to tell me something but soon it became blur as I was lost in my own thought.

Su- Bro again you are zoning out on me!

I came back in the car. A tear rolled down my cheek.

Su- May  be he was on something! I never, literally never expected this from Ray. What an ar*h!
You should totally leave him but before that Syrene you need to talk to him. He called me like a thousand time. I told him not to come here. But you should know what happened. 

As soon as she said about calling I realised that I didn't check my phone ever since last night. 

So I asked Su where is phone .

Su- Babe your phone is with me. You can have it if you want. It's in my bag. 

She stopped the car took out my cell and gave it to me.

I took it and as expected  Ray Bateman flooded my phone with his hollow lies.

I closed my eyes  for sometime and slowly blacked out as I was on pain killers. My eyes opened as soon as I felt the jerk.

Su- Sleepy head wake up! We reached your house. You need to take rest dear. When you were sleeping in the car Mr. Petrakis called and  was asking about you.
I explained him  everything  you don't worry. He'll come and meet you tommorow. He told you to take rest.

Su is one of my support systems in my life. I can never thank her enough for what she had done for  me.

I went inside,changed somehow took a bowl of soup. Kissed my mom goodnight and  was lost inside the darkness inside me.

My head wasn't working. I wanted sometime alone to think about what happened. It was actually a lot to process.

I was telling myself that it was too fast with Ray.

It felt off from the begining with Ray.

But the attraction between us was unavoidable . It was like a magnet. I knew it, felt it but couldn't stop myself from getting closer to him...

I didn't want to think of him.

Just then my phone started to buzz. I didn't pick up cause it was Ray.

It kept on bugging me. After 20th time I picked up. Before picked I thought of lashing out on him.
But damn...
Ray again started to melt me with his voice.

Ray-  Hi Syrene ! How's your health now?  (my heart skipped a beat. I felt the pump of blood flooding inside my vain. My cheek felt warm. A mixed emotion of fear ,love and helplessness covered my soul. I was feeling like I was getting pulled towards him)

I disconnected the phone. I wanted to cry loud. Very loud. 

It felt like someone was taking my breathe from me, someone was choking me. All the images of Ray kissing the girl , holding her close just the way he held me.
I felt myself dirty suddenly.
I never thought he will cheat.
I kept him sacred so it's hurting like hell... It hurts..... I wanted to run away I wanted to die but before I could know the meds I have taken their actions started on me and before I knew I went in deep sleep....

Hello lovelies!!!
Trying hard to finish the book this time.
Syrene soon again will fall in again with Ray. Will it  be real or again he will cheat??
