We Met Until We Were Apart

Once again...
We are going to meet the boys ofcourse Ray and Matt and as we I meant myself and Suzanne. I was happy today cause Ray repeatedly asked me to meet early and clearly he was missing me. I was missing him too. I wanted to see him. But a strange feeling are bugging me inside. Why I don't know but they are there.

My phone beeped, it's Su she's ready and I should reach the cafe soon. I checked myself in the mirror I hope I'm looking ok or should I just brush my hair once more. I asked myself the same question which is unanswered from quite a long time why everytime my stomach churns, I feel lightweight my heart starts pounding and I feel floating when I'm suppose to meet him!

Su, Hey! Where are you I'm right infront of the door. I asked Su.

Su- "Babe  I'm right here". Su hugged me from back.
We entered the cafe and there he was sitting. Talking to Matt. Our eyes met and again it was like a spring morning.

Ray stood and came forward to me he hugged me tight and again I melted within his wide arms.
We all sat together and started blabbering to each other. I noticed a slight change in Su and Matt they seemed close somehow I was happy. The way Matt looks at Su that makes me happy.

Ray was telling about his work and I was just happy to see him, I adore him. His deep eyes, his perfect smile and his charm makes me high. But may be I won't tell him cause may be it's not meant to be. Something inside me always says that it won't be forever the way I want but then Ray keeps on telling me the opposite.

At the airport
The day finally came when Ray was going home for somedays but it felt wrong the way he was, the way it will ruin us. I don't know but its bugging me not because for days it will be distant. But something wasn't right.

We were planning to meet before he leaves for New York. Su and I were suppose to meet him at the airport.

Su - Babe his flight is early they announced it seems. Ray is trying your phone but can't reach. He is already there he needs to go for checking where are you, hurry up!

I received the text from Su and rushed outside for a cab tried both oof them but couldn't reach them. I was on my way to airport but it's raining and there's a bit traffic than usual. I will be late I told myself. The cabbie was driving fast by dodging the traffic.
My phone rang it was Ray.

Ray - Hey where are you? I'm about to enter now I can't wait more.. Hey Hello...
The ph got disconnected before I could answer. It will be in vain even if I reach, I will not be able to make it.

I paid the cabbie and rushed towards the entrance. I saw Su waving to me.

Su - Babe where were you?I met him and he left.

"I tried to reach asap but it was too much of traffic." I told Su.

Su- Its ok. Lets leave now.

Please miss me Ray. That's all I could think of.

Su - He left this for you.
Su handed me a piece of paper. My heart started pounding fast to know what's inside. Su went to find a cab for us and I opened the message from Ray.

It was only two lines. Wish you could make it baby. Take care till I meet you.
My eyes felt blurry. A drop of tears came down my cheeks. O Ray! My dear Ray! Wish I could see you for once I miss you so much.

"Babe hop on!". It was Su inside a cab calling me.

With a heavy heart I went along with the road my mind was unclear. My hair was flying with the wind. Is it going to be the end or still there's something to happen. Felt the heavyness inside me. My eyes were blur...

'I hope we speak soon' my screen beeped with this line lingering on it. It's Ray.

My heart melted and the drop made its way from my eyes towards my chin. Su was busy talking with Matt so I turned towards the window with a smile on face with a tear rolling down.
I don't know what is going to happen but surely the felling is mutual.
