When we reached the small farm, all my siblings ran from the barn and towards Randolph. Keith tied the horse's rope around the worn down wooden split-rail fence surrounding the farm.

"Lance! Lance! Can I ride the horse??" My little brother William exclaimed. My other siblings, Bennie, Sally, and Penelope nodded and pouted.

I turned to Keith who shrugged. "They can pet him I guess..."

My three little siblings were quick to touch the horse, in which it neighed and stomped the ground.

"Your siblings are... cute?" Keith laughs.

"Yeah. They are" I agreed. "Do you want to... go see some fruits?"

"I'd like that" Keith smiled and we went to the back of the house. Keith gasped at the many trees. This must be the first time he's seen fruit trees...

I picked an apricot off of one of the trees and cleaned it with the fabric of my shirt. I tapped his shoulders and he turned to face me. Oh jeez help me...

Dammit why is he so cute.

Keith smiled and took the apricot from my hands. "How did you know this is my favorite fruit?"

"Wait, they are?" I laughed. "I just picked them because they were the closest."

"Well nice pick, Lance" Keith took a bite and sat on the white-painted wooden ladder that leaned against the tree. I watched as the apricot juice ran down his knuckles and blushed. How can someone make eating fruits look so sexual...

Keith really liked the farm. I was glad. I took a seat on the grass next to the ladder and laid my head against the tree for shade. Something in my gut wanted me to tell Keith that I thought he was cute but I couldn't risk it. He was already drawn back to when I accidentally kissed the back of his neck. But then again, he did stare at me during the boat ride. Maybe he only did that because I was new to him? He couldn't possibly like me...

I'm just a dirty farm boy who works a lot under the sun. What guy or girl would fall for anyone like me?

"Hey... Keith?" I break the silence. It felt kind of weird without him saying anything. Just the sound of him sucking and biting on more apricots.

"Yeah?"

"What things do you want to do? You know... like something you've never done before? I'll do what I can to make them happen" I say.

"You'd do that for me?" Keith shoots up from the ladder, almost falling. I was quick to hold it down before it starts tumbling over. Keith would have hit his head against the ground and passed out again. I simply can't let that happen.

"I want to fly, Lance!" Keith exclaims, dropping his half bitten apricot. "Please. Take me to the skies."

"What?"

"Lance I want you to take me flying. Do you have an airplane or a helicopter? Or-"

"Woah hold on there, sunshine" I laughed weakly. "I meant something that wouldn't get you hurt. Nothing dangerous."

Keith looked angry. Did I say something wrong?

"You don't think I can handle danger?"

"No- it's not like that- it's just..." I stutter. "Keith... remember the accident in the boat? I'm just afraid-"

"Oh! Afraid??" Keith was starting to yell at me at this point. "I'm not weak, Lance! I don't need your pity. When I said I wanted to fly, I mean it. You can't stop me just because you're 'scared' my heart will fail again."
