~Levy~

“When do you think she'll wake up? It's been a whole day since she woke up the last time.” I heard Droy's sad voice as I began regaining consciousness.

“I don't know,” Jet sighed. “But, as long as she's asleep, at least she isn't in pain.”

“Droy? Jet?” I asked, my dry throat making it sound more like a croak.

“Levy!” They both exclaimed, grabbing my hands.

“How are you feeling?” Droy asked.

“Are you in pain?” Jet frowned down at me, looking worried.

I shook my head, attempting to sit up. “I'm not one hundred percent, but I feel better,” I told them, smiling. “When did you two get here?”

“First thing this morning,” Jet grinned.

“Did you guys say I've been asleep for another day?” I asked.

Droy nodded. “Wendy has been healing you periodically since then, and she said some of your injured ribs are fully healed.”

“That's good. I'll have to thank her when I see her.” I put a hand to my bandaged ribs, noticing that they were far less painful than they had been. “Has Gajeel come back yet?”

“Yeah,” Jet said, frowning. “Lily found him last night and managed to convince him to come back. Master Makarov talked to him in his office for a long time, and then he went home with Lily. We haven't seen him since.”

“So he's alright,” I sighed in relief. “I'm so glad.”

“You shouldn't be worrying about that guy,” Droy told me. “You're the injured one.”

“He might be too,” I said. Remembering the dark magic that had entered Gajeel's body, I removed all of the medical cords from my arms and attempted to get out of the bed.

“You shouldn't do that.” Jet put his hands on my shoulders, trying to keep me in bed. “You're still hurt, and--”

“I've been in bed for a long time,” I snapped. “Now, either help me up, or back off and let me do it myself.”

After exchanging a look and a sigh, Jet and Droy got on either side of me and helped me out of the bed. I was thankful that someone had brought new clothes and put them on me while I was asleep. My old ones would have been shredded, and a hospital gown would have been too embarrassing to walk around in.

“Where do you want to go?” Droy asked.

“Just the main hall,” I said. I convinced them to let me walk on my own, but they followed closely in case I needed help. This is so frustrating! Why am I so weak?! I hated myself for always having to rely on others to help me.

“Levy! Shouldn't you be resting?” Lucy ran to me once I finally reached the main hall. She smiled at me, but looked worried. The rest of the guild greeted me when they heard Lucy, telling me they were glad I had recovered.

“I've been resting,” I chuckled. “I'm ready to get out of that bed. Have you seen Gajeel around?”

“Not since last night,” Lucy shook her head.

“That's no good,” I frowned, “I really need to see him. Something might be seriously wrong.”

“Well, he'll probably come to the guild sometime today, so if you wait here he's bound to show up eventually,” Lucy shrugged.

“I guess so,” I sighed. “I also wanted to talk to Wendy. I need to thank her for everything.”

“It was no problem.” Wendy's voice caused me to jump. “I'm glad to see you're feeling better.”
