Chapter 15

The only thing I could think of was damn. I didn't expect that bastard to be with Dave when I popped up on him.

Next time I see Keisha I'm going to smack her for not giving me all the information. How the hell did that bastard get to New York in the first place. I left her in a California foster care after Alex died.

I twisted my key in the door and I was shocked. All my clothes was packed in boxes and new stuff was being brought in.

" Baby." I called out to Xavier .

" Yeah." He replied.

I stood in front of him. " What is all this?" I asked.

" O I'm kicking you out. Joy is taking your position you've been lacking on your job." He said nonchalantly.

Just then some thot came  strutting out the bathroom.

" Baby I thought you said you were gonna get rid of her." She whined.

I couldn't believe it. I had lost Dave and now I was losing Xavier too.

"  Listen Sweetheart he doesn't want you anymore. The way you get a man is the same way you lose him. You stole Xavier from Kehlani and now I'm stealing him from you." She said to me.

" Chanel you gotta bounce." He said.

By now all of my stuff were inside a moving truck and tears were coming down my face.

Xavier looked at me one final time before saying, " I paid for Kari to be relocated to a New York foster care system. I know you never really cared about me. So Junior is staying with me. I hope the rest of your life is terrible." And with that he slammed the door in my face.

I called an Uber. But then it dawned on me. I have nowhere to go.
