*Your pov*

"Monsters have appeared in the city. No-one knows how or why, but they have appeared." The news reporter had told the world. It was impossible to believe. Monsters weren't real, so how could they be here? If I were to believe in it, I needed proof.

Well, that was what I thought. When I went to the public park a few days later, I saw them. The monsters were right in front of me.

There were two skeletons. One was short with a red glowing eye, sharp teeth(one gold and the others normal), a red sweater, a black jacket, and black pants with a yellow line running down either side. The other skeleton was tall with glowing red eyes, a torn red scarf, pointed teeth, had a scar, and was wearing a strange outfit.

They terrified me and if the news report was true, then there were many more of them. This was all I needed to believe that monsters were real. This was the proof I asked for.

Everyone was starting at them, yet they seemed perfectly fine with this. Well, the tall one was. The short one looked nervous and was sweating, which was weird because he was a skeleton.

Some people looked scared, some looked disgusted, some looked confused, and some looked interested. No-one had the same reactions, but they all had the same question. "Are these really monsters? I thought they weren't real, so how are they here now?"

No-one went to the monsters, even if everyone wanted to know more about them. Only time would tell if anyone would make contact with them.

"Maybe I should talk to them," I thought. "No-one else seems to want to go anywhere near them."

That was when the shorter one looked my way. I must have been staring. Everyone else was looking away, now. The skeleton began walking towards me. I thought I was going to die.
