All actions have their consequences, even those that are born out of good intention.
The biggest of hearts and the most brilliant of minds can bring about such terror from the foundations of hope.
As control of the decisions we have made slip from our grasp, we pause to ask the age old question of, 'Why?'
Why is this happening? Why have we failed?
But 'Why' doesn't change inevitability. The futility of this question becoming so apparent when all around us the world burns because of the choices we've made.
