Note:
I wrote this chapter because Shawn will probably get a girlfriend at some point in his life, and as his fans, we should support him no matter what. Respect his choices. Respect him.

Audrey's POV

I was standing behind a glass window, watching Shawn get interviewed by Capital FM with a foolish smile on my face. A woman was cheerfully speaking through a microphone, chatting with him. I couldn't hear anything, but I noticed Shawn was a bit nervous. His cheeks were as red as his least favorite food, tomatoes, and he was rubbing the crook of his neck with his hands awkwardly. His tension was almost touchable, which kind of made me feel uncomfortable myself. I tried to read their lips in an attempt to understand what they were saying, but all my efforts were in vain.

Seconds later, Shawn locked eyes with me and flashed a smile inmediately. I smiled back, of course. But my smile was quickly replaced my a confused frown when he started gesturing at me. I furrowed my eyebrows in uncomprehension, letting him know I was lost, so he lip synced the word "come".

I finally got the message and walked towards a little door that led to where the interview was taking place, feeling nervous and kind of stupid. I quickly assumed I was going to get interviewed as well, but that didn't scare me as much as the fact it would be the first time Shawn introduced me as his girlfriend.

Well, I mean, he had already introduced me before, but very few people knew about us. Only Andrew, Geoff, and Shawn's family.

I opened the long, slim door with my heart on my throat, and tried my hardest to look as normal and unconcerned as possible. I looked up to lock eyes with the interviewer, who was ginning widely. I smiled back, and turned to Shawn. He nodded reassuringly, making me feel much more confident and safe. The woman pointed at the chair next to Shawn's, inviting me to sit down.

"Hello", she spoke. "Welcome to the station."

"Hi", I muttered, avoiding her expectant eyes, and sat where she indicated.

"What's your name, darling?", she asked, making me feel like a little kid. I straightened my back and tried to look a bit more intimidant.

"I'm Audrey."She analyzed me for a moment before speaking again. "There's been lots of rumors about you guys, but at the end of the day, they're nothing more than rumors. We want facts", she paused for suspensive effect. "We want the truth."

Suddenly, I felt Shawn's against mine, shielding it. He intertwined our fingers together gently, and I turned my head to him, smiling. He looked into my eyes and smiled back, providing me with all the comfort I could possibly need.

I knew what he was thinking. It was time to come clean.

"Well, Shawn and I are actually dating. We've been seeing each other for over a month now", I stated confidently.

She opened her eyes wide in shock. "Are you serious?"

"Of course we are", said Shawn, taking me by surprise. "Audrey's my girlfriend, and... Well, she's just incredible. One of the most amazing persons I've ever met, and I couldn't be happier I met her."

I couldn't speak, so I stared at him with an astonished smile plastered across my face, which seemed like it would stay there for a while. I realized I probably looked stupid, but I didn't care.Shawn and I were now official.

Shawn's POV

From now on, I knew everything would be different. Soon enough, all my fans would have watched this interview. Soon enough, they would know.

I couldn't help but wonder: what will they think about us? I knew I shouldn't care, but I did. My fans were everything to me. They were the reason I was living my dream.

I knew some of them would be very supportive, but I was also aware of the fact that not everyone would be as nice. I knew I would get lots of hate and negativity, but Audrey was my actual concern. I didn't want her to get hurt.

But coming clean about our relationship was something that just had to be done. Audrey wasn't just any other girl. She was someone I wanted to keep forever.

Audrey's POV

After our big confession, we chatted for a while and answered a couple more questions. Some of them were more awkward than others, of course, but nothing too crazy.

Finally, we said our goodbyes and Shawn and I left the station once and for all in complete silence. I had no idea what I was supposed to say, or even what was coming next, and I got the feeling neither did him.

Seconds later, we entered the elevator. Shawn reached the ground level button with his finger, and pushed it inwards. The mechanical door closed before us, and we both just stood there in silence for a couple of seconds that felt like ages, covered by a thick layer of tension.

"Well, I guess we're official now", I said, in a failed attempt to break the ice.

"We are", he replied with a mixture of shock and terror.

I turned my head to face him, concerned. Was he already regretting this? Was he considering breaking up with me? Maybe he'd already made up his mind, and came to the conclusion that splitting up would be better than facing whatever consequences this would bring us.

The elevator stopped short, and we both exited through the doors as some other people entered it. I was so self-absorbed that it took me a while to notice where the loud noises and cheering were coming from. I snapped out of my trance and saw hundreads of people outside the building, holding their phones up to the sky. When Shawn came completely into their view, they all started screaming at the top of their lungs, and shouting his name at unison.

He smiled at them widely, showing his perfect set of white teeth, and waved at them cheerfully. I looked ut to him and smiled. I've always admired the love he had for his fans.

"Shawn?", I called him.

"Yeah?", he said, turning to face him.

I looked into his beautiful eyes and I just couldn't resist it anymore.

So I grabbed his face and pressed my lips against his, very aware of the fact everyone was watching us. His fans, more precisely.

"From now on, we'll do this together, okay?", I reassured him, pulling ourselves apart. "I love you, Shawn, no matter what comes next."

His lips were parted in shock, and his eyes were scanning me with a hint of adorable admiration. "I love you too", he replied at last. "No matter what."

And with that being finally said, he reached for my hand and held it tight as we walked towards the huge glass door, etting ready to finally leave this building. Getting ready for the uncertainity of the future.

But we both knew we wouldn't face this by ourselves. We would be together along the way, and nothing would tear as apart.

No matter what.
