Chapter 9- Where are you from?

Nightblood sat around the fire with Jane, she had finished eating dinner- he didn't want to take off his mask, so  hewould eat later. Now Nightblood was waiting for the questions to start rolling in. He could see that she was thinking hard about her questions, he felt amusement at her reaction when he said she had three questions then two. He wasn't serious of course, but it was fun messing with her.

Jane then looked up and he saw discomfort flash across her face for a split second, it seemed that she was still uncomfortable around him. Jane soon sat up straight and looked at him with firm eyes, no more discomfort or uneasiness in her eyes, just fearlessness and courage.

"Where are you from?" her voice certain and he moved a little in his spot, getting more comfortable.

 A soft almost silent sigh slipped from his mouth and he tilted his head up to the heavens above.

"My home planet is named Yautja Prime," He paused briefly and leaned back on his hands "and it is in galaxy NGC 4594." He turned his head back to the female and she had a confused look on her golden face.

"Ah, right, you don't go by numbers. It's the galaxy your planet calls The Sombrero Galaxy and it's 31. million light years away from Earth. It is also located in the Virgo Constellation." he explained and Jane was shocked.

"That's far! Wow, your home planet is in The Sombrero Galaxy. You must miss it" her voice became soft and Nightblood nodded his head slightly.

"Yes. I miss it very much" he voice was soft and he could feel her looking at him and he turned to look at her.

"Any more questions?" He watched her cheeks turn a light pink and she looked away, clearing her throat *Cute* he thought as he watched her. Some of her hair fell in front of her face so he reached out and pushed it behind her ear. He didn't know why he did that, but the surprised look on her face made him laugh and she huffed, looking away with a dark blush.

"No, not at the moment" she muttered and he leaned back while watching as she fiddled with her loin cloth.

"Good, because it's late and you need rest. I'm going to teach you how to fight tomorrow. And maybe I'll tell you more about my planet" he said.

"What's the catch?" she was now looking at him with a raised eyebrow and the male chuckled.

"You have to beat me in a match" the look on her face was priceless and her reaction made him laugh.

"What?! Beat you? You do know you're like ten times larger than me right? And stronger!" She complained and Nightblood snorted.

"You're half Yautja, you can hold your own in a fight against me. I'll go easy on you" another chuckle escaped him as she pouted and grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest. He was amused with her and she kept him on his toes. Keeping her alive was a very good idea.

"Now, get some rest. You can sleep in my bed" he looked down to flick a bug off his leg.

"Where are you going to sleep?" he looked over and saw that she was now standing up.

"Oh? You're worried about me now?" he teased and saw as she rolled her eyes, turned around and walked to the hut.

"Good night, princess" he teased again and laughed as she flipped him off and went behind the curtain.
