Can you love a monster like me?- a Yaujta love story

The one thing that Nightblood doesn't regret doing is going on the recon mission a few months ago because if he didn't he would have never gotten captured and would have never gotten to meet Jane. The male wiped the sweat from his forehead, he just finished training. He had been training all afternoon, spending the morning with his mate. He had found out about her fire and she was calm, him, on the other hand, was freaking out. Especially when Jane told him that she had met Paya. The Paya. Pretty sure the Yautja had almost fainted, which was embarrassing. 

Nightblood grabbed his spear and pressed a button in the middle, it retracted and he clipped it onto his belt. The Yautja sighed softly and looked up at the sky the sun started to set and it was beginning to grow dark "Time to go home."

Jane and Nightblood had moved into a new house, so they had more privacy and more space. Nightblood loved Jane with all his heart, but he hadn't heard her say those words yet and he didn't want to say those words too early. It's been a few months since they've known each other and left earth together. These were the best months of his life and he hoped that he and Jane can stay together for a long time. As he walked to his house, he spotted a few people walking the streets, he nodded his head at a few of them and smiled as the younglings waved excitedly at him. They should be in bed by now, but he was young like them once.  Nightblood got closer to the house and as he saw the large home, he stopped and looked at it. The home was big, it had enough space for him and Jane. He...well, Nightblood wanted to start a family. Not big but maybe two or three pups running around the house would be nice. 

Nightblood shook his head, his dreadlocks moved lightly and he sighed "Maybe one day" he muttered and continued to walk to the house. He opened the door and saw that the lights were off but the fireplace was on and it was warm inside the building. Nightblood closed the door softly, locking it then walked to the living room. When he passed the kitchen, he paused as he saw a plate of food on the table, wrapped and a little note by it. He moved to the table and picked up the note I made you some food, Nightblood. I hope you enjoy it- Love Jane <3 

Nightblood chuckled at the little heart and placed the note on the table and slid the plate towards him. He took off the cover and saw that it was his favorite: cooked beef,  burdock, lava shrimp and s'pke. He smiled and grabbed the plate to go heat up his food. After he ate, he washed his dishes and walked to the living room to turn off the fireplace but stopped as he saw a nest of blankets and in the middle of the nest was Jane, sleeping soundly. Jane was curled up on her side, her body peaceful and she was snoring gently. Nightblood leaned against the couch and just watched his mate sleep. Her lips were open slightly and her long hair was on her pillow like a halo, some of the maroon hair laid on her golden cheek and he wanted to move it away from her beautiful face.

Paya, he loved her so much it hurt. Is this how father felt about mother? Nightblood pushed off the couch and quietly went upstairs to change and a few minutes later, he came back downstairs and carefully laid down beside his mate who mumbled something in her sleep as he pulled her warm body close to his and he purred gently while he nuzzled his face in her hair. She must've washed it because it smelled faint of vanilla. 

Nightblood smiled and closed his golden eyes as he laid there with the love of his life. He was starting to get tired and he felt his body relax in the blankets. As he laid there ready to fall asleep any moment, he kissed the top of Jane's head softly and smiled as she sighed softly.

"I love you Jane" he quietly said and soon he was fast asleep.

You know, I thought long and hard how I wanted to end this story. I did not want to just end it with the next two chapters. So, I decided to make a few filler chapters to make the story longer and to give you all more of Jane and Nightblood. I really loved this chapter and I thought it was really cute with how Nightblood thought and said these things about and to Jane. 

So, about the food part. For the life of me, I could not find a lot about what Yautja's eat. But, they eat things like us. Meat-frozen, cooked or raw. Plants-like roots of plants or maybe they eat salads *shrugs* I have no idea lol. So, if I do write chapters where they're eating foods, don't be upset if I have them eat 'human' foods cause it's already hard enough to write a story about a human falling in love with an alien lol.

Also, you read correctly, Nightblood wants to start a family. Now, like I had explained in my other story the answer your question thingy lol, Jane is not going to have 70 children, that it literally impossible because she would surely die from the strain on her body. 

So, for the food that Jane had cooked Nightblood, I had a lot of trouble thinking of what to write. But, since they eat the same things as humans, I decided to put an Earth plant in there, but I put an alien twist to it. The plant I used is called Burdock, I'm just going to copy and paste the description in here....like so *poof* Magic *jazz hands*

Medium to large-sized plant with big leaves and purplish thistle-like flower heads. The plant is native to the temperate areas of the Eastern Hemisphere; however, it has been naturalized in parts of the Western Hemisphere as well. Burdock is actually a popular food in Japan. You can eat the leaves and the peeled stalks of the plant either raw or boiled. The leaves have a bitter taste, so boiling them twice before eating is recommended to remove the bitterness. The root of the plant can also be peeled, boiled, and eaten. 

So, yeah, that's the plant, but to put an alien twist to it...I'm just going to make it glow a light blue lol there's the twist! 

Anyway, next is the lava shrimp. I just made it up, but actually, there's a dish called Lava Lava shrimp and it's also in this game called Fantasy Life where is called Lava Prawn so yeah lol. Well, for this story, the shrimp live in the lava pools on Yautja Prime and they're a light red. Easy to catch and super yummy to eat! :D

The last one is called S'pke. It's just a fruit stew. Like....think of it like beef stew and instead of the beef, just add fruit! Actually, I looked it up and you can actually make fruit stew. It's called Stewed Fruit or Fruit Stew so that's like a real dish lol. So, it can be eaten hot or cold, so it's like a dessert and a soup...I think I don't know about the soup part. Ah, anyway, here's a picture I found of red fruit stew!

Anyway! That's all! I have a few more fillers to do and I probably will get them done today and if not today probably through the week and weekend.
