The weather on Yautja Prime was humid, like always. But I was used to it and it didn't phase me, although...I did miss Earth and how the weather there changed constantly. I missed the snow, the cool breeze, the different animal and bug sounds I would hear when in the forest. I also miss feeling the cool water of the ocean lapping on my skin.

But most of all, I missed my mom and family. I wanted to see my mom so bad, I wasn't close with my other family. Hell, I was the only child and my dad died a long time ago...I wonder how my mom is doing...The last time I spoke to her was when I got my job.

"Nightblood, I want to go back to Earth" I piped up one day when I and the Yautja were in the living room just relaxing. I was laying against his chest and he had was reading a holo-pad above my head. I felt the male adjust under me.

"You miss your mother?" He rumbled low and I laid my head back against his warm chest to look at him and I saw him put the holo-pad away to look down at me.

"Very much...I also miss Earth. It's my real home, Nightblood. I do love this planet and I love staying here with you but...I've been away for months now. She probably thinks I'm dead...I...I just want to make sure that she is okay"  

Nightblood was quiet as I spoke, occasionally running his fingers through my red locks. "I want you to be happy, de'ar. We will go to Earth and see your mother" I grinned and turned around so I was facing him.

"Really?" I asked with a bright smile and he chuckled softly "Yes, anything to make my mate happy. If you're happy, I'm happy." I squealed happily and threw my arms around his neck, peppering his face with kisses.

"Thank you!" he chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You're welcome, my love"

It took a few days to get everything together, supplies, saying goodbye to everyone, they wanted to know where we were going. Maki wanted to come, but I decided that it would be better if he stayed. My mom would already be shocked to even see me and probably will faint at the sight of Nightblood. I don't want to kill her by showing her Maki. 

"We'll be back in a few weeks. Don't cause mother and father trouble, Maki" Nightblood said as he pointed at his younger brother. It seemed like Maki was pouting and I finally pulled away from Dark to laugh at the younger male.

"Don't worry, Maki! We'll be back before you know it!" I chirped out and watched as he looked over at me before he opened his arms for a hug and I happily jumped into his arms, laughing as he pulled me close and nuzzled my cheek.

"You better be back soon! It'll be boring without my partner in crime" he mumbled and I snorted out a laugh. "I know, but I'll bring you something! What do you want?" I asked as I pulled away and fixed my bag but looked over as Nightblood held out his hand. 

"Thanks," I said and looked back at Maki who had a thoughtful look in his eyes.

"Okay, I know what I want. Last time that we were on Earth, I overheard some humans say that they were going to a Nerf war. I believe a Nerf are those orange guns. If you can, can you bring some here? It would be interesting and fun to try out those guns"
