Silence and a thick tension filled the air as Junghee said nothing. Several minutes passed of them simply staring at each other. Out of nowhere, Junghee spun on her heel and teetered back to the door. "Junghee wait!" Jinyoung called. Junghee didn't seem to care, testified by the loud bang of the heavy metal slamming back into place. Jinyoung stared after her, regretting his decision to tell her the truth as he went to stare at the fading light of the sunset.
The colors weren't anywhere near as beautiful when they'd first come to the roof. It was almost like the world was in tune with Jinyoung's feelings. Jinyoung watched the light fade to a grayish blue and thought about all the good memories he had with Junghee. Somewhere deep inside he knew that this wouldn't be the end of their relationship, but he couldn't help but stress about it. Suddenly, a loud ding pulled him from his worried thoughts.
Junghee ^^: it's okay
Jinyoungie: wait really??
Junghee ^^: haha yes Jinyoung I'm just really surprised and also low key embarrassed
Jinyoungie: I'm so glad but why would u be embarrassed
Junghee ^^: I lItErAlLy tOld YoU I lIke yOu bUt nOt yOU
Jinyoungie: oh lol don't worry I thought it was cute ^_−☆
Junghee ^^: I'm blushing rn I hate you
Jinyougie: but see, I know you don't ;)
Junghee ^^: stop spitting lies m8
Jinyoungie: but I'm not tho
Jinyoungie: and also can I come in?
Junghee ^^: yet another lie
Jinyoung waited patiently for her to give him the okay to enter her room, but the text never came. Before he could be disappointed, though, there was a slam and a loud groan. Without thinking; Jinyoung opened the door and surveyed the room. Junghee was laying on the floor with a brush in her left hand and rubbing her head with her right. "Are you okay, Junghee? What happened? Should I get the nurse?"
Junghee sat up and started laughing before Jinyoung could further worry. Jinyoung gave her a strange look as if to say "or a psychiatrist maybe". "I'm good, I promise!"
By then, Jinyoung was sitting on the floor next to her and fussing about her head. Junghee thought it was cute that he cared so much for her.
"Hey dude," Junghee began, "do you think maybe we could redo the whole "it's me" thing?"
Jinyoung looked at her for a long moment then nodded. "So you know that guy you've been texting?"
Junghee faked a confused face. "Um, yes."
"It me!"
