Jay was worried about what he was going to face inside. He had never been inside Voight's house before and honestly never planned to, but circumstances change. He was in the hallway trailing behind Erin. Why did Voight want to see him? Was he gong to punch Jay in the face for getting Erin pregnant? "Although I kind of deserve it though," he thought to himself. They had reached the door to the kitchen. Erin walked in and Jay stepped in after her not knowing what to expect.

"Hi there Jay, how are you?" Voight greeted him with a smile? Jay had never seen him greet anyone, other then people he liked, like that before. And Jay knew Voight did not like him. So he was taken aback when he was greeted this way, and by the look on Erin's face, so was she. "Um hello Sergeant," Jay stuttered. Voight dropped his smile, "I would like to mention that Erin told me everything, and when she did I wanted to punch you in the face," "There it is," Jay thought "I'm going to get punched in the face today." "But," Voight continued, " I made a promise to Erin, so I won't hurt you if you treat her right, but make no mistake, if you do anything to hurt her... I will break that promise and hurt you and maybe throw you in the back of my car and take you somewhere nobody will find you."

Jay just stood there petrified. He didn't know whether to say something or keep his mouth shut. "Oh and by the way, congratulations on the baby," he said with a forced smile as Erin was looking at him. "Thank you, Sergeant" Jay replied, his mouth dry. "Well this is good progress," Erin beamed at the two of them, "but Hank we'd better get going, we'll see you at work on Monday." She walked over and gave him a hug, "thank you for being so understanding." She let go and saw Jay relieved to be leaving.

They both fell into the car and breathed a sigh of relief simultaneously. "Let's get going them," Jay said as he started the engine and relaxed into the seat. "On the way home, can you stop into the shop and get some mint chocolate ice-cream please," Erin pleaded Jay. "Yeah no problem, I'll get you a tub of it," he replied laughing. "Hold on a second, I could eat one tub in ten minutes, at the moment, so I think it's best to get four, just in case," she said. "Whatever you want babe," he looked at her strangely but then started to laugh again. Erin joined in too when she realised how crazy her order was. "In my defense, I am eating for too."
