Erin was running around trying to find her other shoe. "Kim, have you seen my shoe?" She shouted as she dug through her wardrobe. Kim walked in with the shoe in her hand, "it was on the couch." Erin looked up and sighed in relief, she jumped up, took the shoe from Kim and cradled it. "That almost turned into a disaster." "Erin, you need to calm down," Kim said as she put a hand on Erin's arm soothingly. "I'm getting married, I'm allowed to be stressed," she huffed as she put on her shoe. "Speaking of, it's time to go," Kim announced. Erin sucked in a breath, "We have to go now, we have to go to the church where I'm going to be married..right now?" "Yes, are you coming?" Kim asked as the keys to her car dangled from her fingertips. Erin swallowed and replied, "Yes. I am."
"I do," Jay said and looked expectantly at Erin. She was frozen, but out of the corner of her eye she saw Evan sitting beside Voight in the front pew. She unfroze, looked at Jay and smiled, "I do." "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride," the priest finished. Jay smiled and pulled Erin in for a kiss. Everyone started clapping. When they broke apart, Erin and Jay turned to face everyone and saw Voight holding Evan who was clapping his little hands like everyone else. As they both descended from the altar Voight put down Evan and he toddled over to Erin, who swung him up into her arms. She had never been happier.
The whole of district 21 were there, Kim and Ruzek were minding Evan, who looked like he was going to fall asleep at any second. Voight stole Evan away from Kim and Ruzek and brought him over to the newly-weds who were dancing. They stopped when they saw them coming. "I'm going to get going and take this little man with me," Voight told them. Evan was nodding off in Voight's arms. "See you tomorrow baby," Erin cooed and gave Evan a kiss. Jay ruffled his hair and said goodbye. "We'll pick him up tomorrow," Erin promised. "Make sure you drink plenty of water and eat something before you get in the car," Voight warned. "That's not necessary," Erin giggled nervously, "I haven't drank all night." Voight's jaw dropped and so did Jay's. "We'll leave you two to talk," Voight said and walked away. Jay turned to look at Erin, "Anything you want to tell me?"
Erin and Jay walked over to a table and sat down. Erin took a breath, "I took a test this morning, and I'm pregnant." "That's great news," Jay grinned, "Somehow this day just got even better." They smiled at each other and a slow song came on. "Would you do me the honour of dancing with me?" Jay asked as he stood up and held out his hand. "I will," Erin replied as she took his hand and stood up. They walked over to the dance floor and Erin looped her arms around Jay's neck as he held her waist. They looked lovingly into each others eyes while they swayed. Kim and Ruzek, Will and Natalie were dancing alongside them. Erin leaned her head on Jay's shoulder and sighed contently, "I love you. I never thought that I would have a perfect life but I realized that I do and it's an amazing feeling." "I love you so much and I love our perfect life," Jay said fondly and gave her a kiss.
