Jace's Point of View:

The past few days have been nothing words can explain other than amazing. Jade has been by my side for the most part and I think I can speak for us both when I say, we both enjoyed it. Jovante had just forgiven me, Alya was still on edge but I think she was okay though. But one thing leads to another and with Jade and me, it's never anything positive.

We were planning on having a movie night with Jojo and Alya. My parents invited Jade, Alya, and Jovante over for dinner. It was going to be a great day until I walked into the doors. Jade was holding my hand, we were laughing at Alya because how she came off on Jojo for accidentally exploiting their private life. I didn't think Jade and I had to worry about anything else. Especially not her.

 "Jace your Friend Karla came to see you." My mother announced as we walked in. I could feel Jade's mood slip from her fingers like her hand did from mine in that moment. "What, is she doing here? " Jade asked looking at me. I knew she was still on edge about trusting me. I didn't really trust myself after that either, but we were just working past this. "I have no idea. Mom what the hell..." I began before watching Karla stride into the room. She had a lot of nerve showing up after I told her not to come anywhere near me or Jade.

"Hi, Jace. " She said, ignoring Jade's presence. I could feel Jade tensing up, she wasn't even touching me. Right now I felt like one of those swat team guys trying to defuse a bomb before it goes off. Only thing is I'm the rookie, and I had no idea where to start. "Why are you here? " I asked coldly. "Well, I was planning on joining the pack. But your father said that it was your decision as part of your Alpha training? " She asked pretending to care, a smirk growing on her face. I just knew Jade wanted to smack it off. 

"No. " I said sternly making my mother and Karla look at me, confused by my quick decision.

Jades Point of View:

I would totally pounce on her if Jace and his mother weren't standing there. Just then the Alpha entered the room and everyone's heads turned towards him. "Now Jace I'm expecting you to do what's best for the pack. "His father said making his way next to his wife. They are such a beautiful couple. 

"I know, but aren't I supposed to do right by my mate as well? Jade and I don't want her here. She just wants to damage everything we just fixed. " Jace was growing angry. I felt a bit scared, but I put my hand on his back and I could feel him unwinding. He was so tense, there was no telling what he would do. "She's skilled in medicine Jace, she would be helpful. " his father pushed. Then it clicked, maybe that's why Jace's wolf was being so rebellious.

 I zoned out, mentally trying to connect the puzzle pieces, but it didn't make sense as to how she would poison him without him catching her. Maybe when they kissed? No, it doesn't make sense... 

"We have five professionally trained nurses here already!" Jace shouted. "Extra hands would be nice. " his father stated, staying calm. "She not even a Luminescent, she's a crescent. She needs to go back to her pack and help them. They're dying off, so her skills are needed elsewhere. " Jace said. "He's right, she should be helping her pack instead of running to ours. " Jace's mother defended. I was still not paying attention. 

"Okay, handle it then." His father said throwing his hands up in defeat. Jace turned to Karla. "I'm sorry Karla but you are not welcome to join our pack." He stated and I knew he was relieved that he got his way. "Fine, "she said storming out of their stay and hopefully out the building.

Jace turned to me and I was still trying to figure out what she did to him. "Babe, are you okay? You like something is crawling under your paws." I looked at him. Babe? My cheeks flushed red then I shook my head "I'm fine. " I said trying to convince myself. Maybe I was just trying to find reasons to make her look bad because I didn't like her.

"I know your not. " He said.  "Um, no I'm fine. I just don't like her. "  I admitted, "I know. " Jace said pulling me close to him with one arm, then kissing my forehead. It Just now had occurred to me that Jace and I have never kissed. The most we ever did with each other was teasing against a wall and a tree. Even then we had never kissed each other and I just by doing that I was shaking. Just imagine us kissing. 

"Yeah.  " I said with my head against his chest. "Alya and Jovante will be here any minute for dinner. I'm going to shower. You can help my mom set the table, or you can join me. "He whispered the end. I looked up at him as he licked his lips and I could feel my cheeks getting hot. I swore there was an ocean between my legs. "The longer you think about it the more tortured you'll feel. "He said with a smirk pulling at the end of his red, wet lips. "Go, shower. " I said hitting his chest playfully and then we walked away. 

I went to the kitchen to help his mother. "Do you need help with anything? " I asked her as she pulled steaks out the oven. It smelt so good. "Could you help me set the table? " She asked, checking the food. "Of course. " I said then grabbing plates and metal forks to set up the table. When I finished I headed back into the kitchen.  "Tables set. "I announced. "Thank you so much. Can I have you do me one last favor Jade? " his mother asked. "Yeah, sure anything. "I agreed. She turned to me and used her hands as leverage behind her on the counter. "Can you please explain what was going on with my son and that girl? " She asked. Her tone was filled with worry. I didn't want to make her mad with him or anything though by telling her what happened. 

I bit the inside of my lip nervously as I searched for words. "She's not a good person. I actually just met her. " I began. "She kissed Jace when things were going downhill for us. It made it a lot worse. Then just as I was ready to forgive him, he was going to kiss her.. " I trailed. "He did what? " she asked and her tone sounded like she didn't believe her son would do such a thing. I was just now beginning to think that as well, what happened didn't make any sense. Your wolf would never convince someone of such indecency. She must've done something to him. "It sounds far-fetched, I know but it happened. And I don't believe it was really his fault. "I defended. That whole day was shit. I didn't want to relive it because now I was reliving the feelings of it.

"Then who's fault was it? I know I didn't raise him to be a dog! " she exclaimed. "I don't know. "I said ready to be done with the conversation. "That's enough mom. I made a mistake, all that matters is that she forgave me. I can't write my wrongs if they are constantly a conversation. " Jace said, standing in the door. 

To me, it sounded like he was referring to more things, than just our conversation. "Jade I need your help with something. "He said looking over at me I nodded and followed out the kitchen and down the hall to his room. "What do you need help with? " I asked turning around as he closed the door behind him. He licked his lips and moving closer to me. "A lot, " he said.

Pushed me up against the wall and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He did the same thing he always does, putting his head in the nape of my neck. His lips, softly pecking at my neck until he found the spot that made my whole body react. He kissed it again making me tighten my legs around his waist and he nibbled their, long and intensely. It sent shivers up my spine, making me arch my back, pressing my lower half on his and in return he did it back, making me huff loudly. He kissed a trail from my neck, right to the top of my chest, sliding the hemming to the side so he could leave kisses on my skin. He did the same thing he did to my neck, this time sucking. When he was done he looked me in my eyes. He was amused by the reactions he forced out of me. I bit my lip as a smug looked appeared on his face, and just like that, he had me lying on the bed. He was on top of me. "Don't bite your lip. You know what that does to me. "He said kissing right behind my ear making me bite my lip harder and let out soft moans. 

"Jace! Alya and Jovante have arrived!" His father shouted from down the hall. Both of our heads shot up. He stood up slowly, making sure to tease me with the fact that what just started, was coming to an end so soon. He looked at me and smirked, "To be continued... "
