"Brian's file?" Emily wondered in confusion watching Elias pace back and forward the empty gymnasium. Aaron was sitting quietly in a chair in the corner behind her, She expected him to throw a sarcastic question at the time but nothing seemed coming out of him.
"It's not the whole file we need, just his parents' phone number." Elias scrubbed his face down with his hands. "It might be tough convincing them to come all the way here. But no parent-none- is going to turn their back on their children when they're being harassed, especially by police enforcements."
"Okay however, don't you think it's easier to ask Brian himself for his parents' number?" She said bitterly.
Aaron shook his head "We can't reach him without exposing ourselves, the sheriff's department organized a whole shazam just to spy on him and guess who's supervising the operation?"
"My uncle." Elias supplied.
"Great, now I have to break into my father's office, again." She breathed a long sigh before looking over at Aaron.
Elias couldn't resist the urge to ask "What? Again? You mean you-you did that before?" he stuttered.
Aaron and Emily shared a look.
"Yeah funny isn't it?" Emily pulled a face and got up from her chair. "So I'm going to class, I'll try to get the keys to my father's office and you guys fill me in your plan later okay?"
Before Elias could think of something to say Emily was gone. She got him thinking about the plan which he had none, he didn't think of the details when he had the idea of stealing the file.
"Now what's the plan?" Aaron walked toward him.
"I'm not much of a detail person, I kind of give ideas and wait for others to elaborate, you know." Elias mumbled, and Aaron's eyebrows furrowed.
"Well I'm not much of a thinker I just execute orders chief." He patted his shoulder.
"Awesome. I guess I'm going to make a sag plan then." He shut his mouth tightly.
"A what?" Aaron laughed as he received an elbow in the stomach "yeah a Stealing And Giving back plan." Elias explained. "We're not keeping that file."
"Okay than meanwhile I'll check on the pretty boy see if I can reach out for him," Aaron started to walk away "I hope the sag will be ready by the time I get back." He teased.
Elias laughed nervously waving "Yeah and so will be your grave, that I'll dig by my own hands!" he said as he turned around to see Derek staring at him, looking very relaxed. "What-What are you doing here? This is a school property, you can't be here."
"It's not accurate to take advice from you on what I can and can't do." Derek approached.
"What do you want?" Anger was clear in Elias' voice as he spoke "Isn't it enough that you got Brian in trouble?"
"I did not ask him to call the cops."
"Yes but you scared him enough to." The boy answered firmly "Now what do you want?"
"I want my book."
"Why? so you can take down another 'sacrifice'?" Derek laughed at his statement. "Are you judging me?" His voice was now venomous "You from all humans should know what it's like to have no choice."
"So you're saying someone forced you?"
"It doesn't matter now, he is in custody and the book is there somewhere, you see where I'm going with this?"
