"Damn! You look awful." Said Aaron, he was now standing in Elias porch leaning at the frame of the door.

"Jee thanks, you too!" Elias responded dragging his feet slothfully. "You know usually, people start with hello or good morning but yeah sure 'You look awful' could work too," he scoffed walking through the front door, Dressed up in an open plaid shirt and a white tank top that covered the black belt holding up his jeans from falling down his knees. It was a nice mishmash figuring he only got two hours of sleep last night.

He caught a glance at Aaron's car and noticed; the back seats were all taken.

"And look at that! The lovely couple is also here." He laughed.

"Well they're excited."

"Yeah I can see that, you picked them up huh? What are you up to?" Elias asked smirking.

"Nothing!" Aaron's voice reached such a high note a penguin would have guessed that was a lie.

"Really? I may be a bad liar but I can see when someone is lying to me."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Aaron opened the door of his car as they both slipped through their seats laughing, Emily was reading a book that Brian peeked from the side and as soon as Elias got in they all glanced up.

"You look like shit." Was the first thing out of Brian's mouth when he saw him.

Emily rolled her eyes, closing her book and turning to face him. "Do you mind?" she said dryly making him sink into his seat "Sorry." And Elias giggled "Good morning you two."

"It looks like a bad morning for you, have you slept yesterday?"

"Yes."

"Then why do you look like shit?" Brian chimed in.

In one ear and out the other...

"Gee, thanks you look awesome yourself Brian."

"I know." He smirked to himself.

Emily scoffed "Really Harper?" she narrowed her eyes suspiciously and Elias knew instantly that he was about to be interrogated. "What's wrong?"

"Okay, I may have stayed up late last night listening to the radio."

"Radio? Don't you have an iPod? Hello! it's the 21st century?"

"A radio scanner Brian," Brian queried, still not catching his drift. "The ones they use in the sheriff's station to report incidents."

"Oh. And why do you look like that?"

"I don't know. One of the many wonders of the universe, I guess." He asked, sounding more exasperated than he would have liked.

Fortunately, before Brian could protest the car behind them horned to get his attention to move his vehicle off the side walk. The car had no significant flaws, obviously has been pampered by its owner who was clearly on a rush.

"Damned kids!" Clay hit the wheel angrily causing Isaac to laugh his heart out.

"I forgot how you get grumpy in the morning." He remarked.

"Isaac?"

"Yes?" He responded shifting in his passenger seat.

"Shut up."

And he horned again.

"OKAY! I'M GOING!" Aaron shouted as his face quickly dropped into a smile. "Fasten your seat belts people."
